Batarian Brawler 10 WS

I_hate_Rio.    This took at least 10 attempts. Objectives were targets, hack, hack. Got double center hacks and couldn`t cheese the latter one which made it hhmmm... interesting.

Same feelings about Hydra as I have with Rio. This map has been hardest for me so far with over 10 attempts. Objectives were escort, hack, targets. Used all missiles, ops packs and 5 gels. Just glad this one is over.

All non-hazard maps completed. Jade was easier than I thought it would and finished it in first attempt. One missile used on wave 5 and 5 on wave 10. Objectives were escort, devices, targets.

Obviously I was extremly lucky with objectives. Although I derped completely with rocket use. Got cornered several times and had to bomb out an escape route. Clean up missile killed two phantoms instead of a banshee and two atlas'. And I believe my build is not optimal. Maybe I should invest more points into weapon damage.

 

Whatever, I'm happy with it for now. And I'm glad to achieve something half a year ago I thought is impossibru for me.

Big thanks to all you solo'ers in the challenge thread, gold speed run thread and this actual thread, who provide tipps, knowledge and educational video material.

And welcome to the thread where you won`t hear lolcolyte, lolvenom and other stupid stuff. There is no shame in using the best tools available when you solo

since you mentiond you build, this is what i recommend for soloing the GE or just skip the turret, and max out the fitness.

Some questions:

 

HM rank 4: I thought accuracy won't do much for acolyte and CSMG is pretty acurate on it's own. Do I miss something here?

HM rank 5: Again, does rate of fire help with acolyte? And for CSMG - the clip will be empty earlier, which was a problem anyway

Passives is where I agree, maybe that would have been better.

Regarding turret - that was my life saver and especially the range increase rank 5 was really helpful for me. I could toss it in the general direction I'm going to move and it heals me when I'm passing.

I need to work on some plat solos (with Batarians!) anyways. Think I'll use Venom!

Yeah, I'd probably advocate the 3 in Turret/5 in Fitness split, and that's coming from someone who finds the turret quite useful (not only for those little shield boost helpers, but also keeping track of enemies/spawns). Also- @Frank, I'd recommend considering Survivor gear over Stronghold, I've always found the extra ops packs waaaaaaaay more useful than +12% shield recharge (and they both give you +20% shields), especially on solos.

The topic is updated. Some great stuff again since the last update, with Techno doing the first non-Glacier sub-20 run, Antsu becoming Admiral (platinum solos in all maps) and Frank completing his first platinum solo. Awesome job once again, guys !
