I don't really understand why this concerns you at all. If you don't like some of the tricks used in some of the solos, then you could save yourself any aggravation by just not watching them...........or even visiting this thread.
Or maybe start your own thread for platinum solos that you consider to be legitimate - It might be interesting to see what difference (if any) there would be in average times.
That would require full videos for every submission though so I can't imagine it'd be that popular.
I think what it boils down too is that thread is not for me. My preference is to play the game as intended and anybody who plays regularly with me knows that to be true. That restriction isn't placed on the solos posted here.
It's not worth the effort to start up an alternative thread as its obvious glitching does reduce the time and improve the success of a platinum solo. Its situational how much difference it makes. For example, a pizza run on glacier will only make a marginal difference, whilst rio run from one end to the other would be really significant. Similar with hack circles, some hacks on jade/hydra/london are a nightmare and they are trivialized by not being forced to defend them.
. I have to admit I got pretty lucky with objectives. On w6 I managed to glitch the hack, unlike on w3. And w10 pretty much consisted of me running away from Banshees while screaming "NO!" in real life.
