For The 7 Tiers of Neufchatel, Tier 6 challenge.

Human engineer. Did this one two months ago but I had other runs to upload first.

High point : 20 headshots closely after 25 pistol kills.

 

Low point : awful wave 9 (3 gels).

 

 

Hack, hack, devices. Both my build (66606) and my equipement (power amp, pistol amp 1 and drill rounds) weren't optimal for this solo. If I've had the choice, I would have used a 66653 build, a cyclonic 4 and incendiary rounds 4. But I wanted a video for this character (my favorite vanilla human after the adept), so here it is.

Try it! If you are comfortable with soloing gold then you are ready to start trying.

Don't give up if you fail the first attempts, in a platinum solo you have very small margins in many cases, and some of the BS game mechanics can cause you to fail in ridiculous ways, like an Atlas missile coming out of nowhere stunning you at the same exact moment as a phantom sneaks up on you. I've done 35 solos now and I also fail attempts, like the last attempts on Dagger where my biotic charge didn't stagger the phantom I targeted and resulted in immediate sync kill, but even after all these solos the mission successful screen still feels pretty damn good and is worth all the frustration associated with reaching it

This one was a struggle, failed 5 BatGuard attempts on this map, don't really know why since I considered the Hazard Dagger solo to be not to bad - but on normal Dagger I just kept getting sync killed by Phantoms that refused to get stunned by Biotic charge, really weird.

After 5 tries I had enough of stabbing and decided to play it really safe just to get the map done, Went with AIU/Venom, it was slow but it got the job done.

tried for 10Ws but i blew it in w10 

 

tried for sub-30 but i also fumbled that by atrocious shooting and just generally poor gameplay. This was actually a prestacious challenge and no pizza running or anything, but I don't plan on submitting it, since it's not much different from my other run 

 

in general, i blew it.

I did this solo this morning and right now the thought of playing ME3 MP for another single minute is literally the most excruciating thing I can imagine. In other words, taking a break now, be back later, maybe.

Actually Cerberus has only 2 double Banshees waves (5 and 10), as Collectors (4 and 10). Geth has 3 (8,10 and 11).

Cerb has 2x banshee on w5 and 10 only, but w10 they play very diffrent from w5, cos objectives. So in reality, there is only one 2x banshee wave to deal with vs cerb. Cos you can just blast the w10 banshees with you cleanup nuke when the obj is done

Playing the SI i can use the venom, and say it`s lore/cosplay, not cos I am a scrub that likes the easymode phantom kills 

 

distruptor rounds and proxy spam makes the primes spend alot of time respawning their pets:)

Indeed, Cerb wave 4 and 9 only have 1 Banshee. But to be honest, the worst thing about Cerberus is not the Banshees, it's all the Dragoons....

like so many other enemies, the goons are dependent on the kits and gun i find. With a venom or scoripion they are just a superfast way to end the wave. With something like a singleshot gun, they are "#&"%"#"%%"

I'll be honest here and admit this : Wave 7 Cerberus was a royal pain in the ass during my DrellGod solo. It's amazing how fast you can get overwhelmed that wave (especially on White). I might retry it with the Venom sometime since the last one was Hurricane/Acolyte.

Yes, wave 7 Cerberus is particular : it's either a joke (with a Venom QME for instance) or a big pain in the ass (without any crowd control power or weapon).

Kroguard vs Geth on Vancouver. Objectives were Escort, Escort, hack luckily.

Got this done on my first try, very happy about that as I really don't want to do this solo again, Vancouver vs Geth sure was a lot harder to do than what White was when I soloed them the first time.

Yeah White really is a good map for Cerberus wave 7, but I found that wave on Dagger to be really stressful, even with the Venom
