I 'practiced' this one with inferior equipment (cyclonic 3, pistol amp 2, ammo 3) till I grew confident, then when I put on my best consumables it almost felt easy. Try it! Just be ready for many reruns.

I've done that before, this strategy actually works quite well.

There are some really solo friendly adepts you can try, the Justicar is amazing, the Collector is a lot of fun and the vanilla human is very powerful. If you want to try something tankier that can take a few hits the Krogan Shaman is very good also.

But yeah, the Shaman is a great starter kit (esp among the adepts) for plat solos- IIRC, I got my first 10WS with him, and that with no intention/expectation of doing so going in; I just got to wave 11 and realized I still had 6 medi-gels left.

The DA is squishy and require you to play with nade gear V instead of Geth Scanner since so much of his damage comes from reave + nade.

 

Certainly an Amazing kit, but a bit more difficult to master for a first solo I'd say. I haven't tried him yet myself though.

Since the last time I posted the stats, two asari have overtaken the brawler - the justicar and the valkyrie.

 

3 of the top 5 fastest characters are asari - AA (2), AJA (4) and AVS (5). QME (1) and DI (3) complete the top 5.

 

Edit: With the exception of the huntress, all asari are in the top 15.

Volus Engineer done vs Cerberus with 10 Waves survived. Objectives were Hack, Targets, Pizza

Wave 6 slowed it down a lot as I had to use 3 missiles to manage it, was thinking about rage quitting and trying again but decided to go on which was a good call as I got 10 WS with a damn Volus.

I believe I thereby have done the Councilor achivement for soloing all races.

QME finally done, a true power house eventhough I scrubbed it with GS and CM IV. Great objectives this time, Escort, Escort, Hack.

So Close to Another 10 WS but I had one really dumb Death on wave 8.

Next solo when I'm up for it might be that silly M-3 Predator challenge, but let's see.

I was looking at things as I reviewed my completely non-nerdy and cool spreadsheet I keep of my own solos and I noticed this Asari Justicar entry --

Is not actually an asari justicar solo, it's the HA.  I've never done venom AJA on Glacier, have done Venom HA on glacier though. Figured I'd mega-derped while posting, then I realized N7-Gerbs posted that solo after raiding my screenshot folder and assumed it was Asari Justicar without consulting me first. I don't pay attention to the crap he posts. 

 

Let it stand for the record that I've apparently completed 68 solos with the Asari, not 69.

can be deleted. Looks like screenshot and video have separate entries for the same solo. Can't speak for Gerbs but figure he'd want to keep the video in there, as it's an example of one of the few times when he wasnt just too lazy to upload and actually cleaned out the messes he leaves on our HDD.
