Playing like **** today (two Kroguard solos and one HA try ended with a Phantom sync-kill, another one I had to rage quit with the Kroguard in wave ten after I got targets for a third time that game and had no missiles left), I'm glad that I can at least post a solo from Sunday.

 

Another Krogan Vanguard one. Not a great time in comparison to my last one, because I also used some more missiles than I wanted early for targets. So far it's that kind of week between the RNG god and me...  :rolleyes:

Thx for patience, its done. I was probably to excited to that right the first time :D
Anyway, I thought platinum would be more difficult... well, it was difficult enough ;) I just manage to do it with the first try after I flawlessly did gold solo (also for the first time). Probably wont repeat platinum solo, thats just not my thing. I like the game for teamwork, trying out new builds and chill gameplays. Soloing just makes me stand on my toes and thats just not my favorite pass time :) Now, platinum solo feels good, mates... And look - I thought I was good, but then I've browsed this topic, looked the stats and... OMFG, platinum solos with ~25 minutes... You guys are freaks. Love the videos! :)

Anybody up for a match on PS3?

I did do one FQI try tonight, which ended with a Banshee hug on wave 4, wasen't really motivated to give it another try and as I have a ton of AR amps I gave the TGI another run. Ended up as my quickest TGI solo so far.

Objectives were Pizza, Hack, Escort

P.S Clever use of game mechanics was applied to the max this solo.

Congratulations on your first solo! A Word of warning though, be careful or you will quickly be as addicted to doing it as I have become :P

Mastering the real life (yeah, that one where I'm not saving the galaxy every evening) is somewhat absorbing for me these days, so I'll take your warning seriously ;) I know why its so addictive - satisfaction after the evac wave just literally made my day (it was not bad - just routine of studying and working, and boom! 6/10 day to 10/10 day instantly...) Have to be careful with that :)
btw, glad to find this place - soooo many great videos. I watched Invaderone channel for a long time, so I've heard about the platinum hall of fame, but I actually didnt care enough to look it up (never thought that I will actually pull off platinum solo). But then, it was long time ago and since that I got better. Now I'm watching videos you submitted here, thats the stuff.

... and I'm little sorry for screwing the average time on PS3 with my 81 minutes. Guess you will have to play more to even this one :D

Great show. I so dig the N7 Valkyrie (one of ma favorite weapons, scoring reliably medals for headshots every game) but never could use it like you. Aiming with pad is just not that precise. Now I could see how Valkyrie is suppose to work... and I'm jelly... :P

Thanks! It was a pretty good game indeed. But I'm not all that great with the Valkyrie, most my kills were from grenades and CS (didn't even get the gold medal for weapon kills, let alone headshots). If you've got the time, see this for "how Valkyrie is supposed to work".

 

And welcome to our little soloing community! Always good to see fresh blood new faces. :)

Objectives placements were incredibly stupid. Just did this because since the first time I did this solo, I've gotten a new laptop that runs this game at 60fps instead of 19fps and wanted to experience the 60fps reegar. Game still annoys me though, so back to retirement I go.

This solo was a bit special, must have done 6 tries prior to this one that all ended with rage quit on wave 3. I had 4 straight wave 3 targets and after that 2 derp devices that I couldn't do fast enough and ended with rage quit as well.

So I decided to give it one final try before completely rage quitting.

Objectives were Hack, Targets, Devices

Started off ok with a hack I couldn't glitch but I got it with barely no down time so I continued. On wave 6 I got targets but it's not really hard with a Reegar so I continued. On wave 10 I got devices but managed to do them without losing to much time. Couldn't believe my eyes after extraction when I realized it was sub 30.

I just love the Batguard.

Tried to get a sub 30 also with the Kroguard but the damn game keeps trolling me with devices and targets every solo now it seems.

At least it was 10 WS.

Will probably try it again later on for a sub 30, but if I keep getting objectives like these I will rage quit from ME3 permanently.
