I'm not changing anything, hah.
Is it a companies role to change things or do you follow the market?

Can you list some examples in where Bioware has gone too far? Personally I see they are being a bit more inclusive but it doesn't dominate their game design.
You know, listing some examples would help the discussion, OP ![]()
None of the above.
I can not think of any case of BioWare going "too politically correct" from the top of my head right now, so I suppose not.
Any particular outstanding instances you could give as example to illustrate your point?
What political correctness are you speaking of TC?
Gay and lesbian chacters? Non white characters and character creation options? The oppressed rising up against their oppressors? Women being treated as equals to men?
Please detail for us curious posters exactly what you mean by BioWare becoming too politically correct.

is bioware getting too politically correct?
nah
Listing some examples would be a nice way to start some discussion. Surely you must have some, otherwise you wouldn't have bothered to make this thread.
What do you mean by "Politically Correct"? Bioware is politically fine...
Bioware listens far too much to the SWJ brigade. Makes their stories worse, their characters more shallow and cliche.
It listens to fans in general too much. That's how we got idiotic things like the Tali/Garrus romances, the second ever matriarch we ever meet "just happening" to be Liara's other parent and things like Udina and Cerberus' handling in ME3.

Romancing Tali or Garrus isn't a big deal though is it? How does it negatively affect your game if you don't do it?
How do we know that out of all the asari npc's we encounter throughout the series that none of them are matriarchs? We may not engage them in conversation but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
Did people demand that Cerberus become a vast and powerful army? News to me if true.
I clicked on the link and the page couldn't be displayed. What was it?

More like the news coverage about BioWare games focusing on the LGBT and romance aspects.
So their games have gay characters, that's cool, but what else is there in their games? Few months ago you wouldn't know a damn thing about DA:I other than the fact that you can play dating sim in it.

That's the issue. They hardly market their products as games with fun game play. Now it's all about who you can f*ck, and what feminist tumblr nonsense they happen to be covering.
Of course not. But in my opinion I'd say they have way too much fanservice in there games.

Well... we'd agree to disagree, then.

I think he/she is referring to how they became outright villains in ME3.

They're trying to sell the game and that kind of thing appeals to a lot of people. People have money. By broadening their target audience they can reach more people and sell more games.
I believe they were keeping a lid on things because of the changes that they've made to things and how they might be negatively recieved. I dunno really.
I couldn't care less about romances personally. That kind of thing comes in second to saving the world. Outside of character immersion romances don't even enter the picture.

So they weren't bad guys before ME3?

This.
The Citadel DLC for ME3 was just ultimate fan service. Many parts of ME3 were fan service too but that DLC took it extremely far...
