"Additional bonus digital content - to be announced"

I'm going to guess it's MP related and that's why they never announced it. Hopefully they add some more SP content too. Mine is already paid off.

Actually, on a more serious note...I've been wondering if Blood Dragon armor is gonna make an appearance as some kind of pre-order bonus, as in the past. I hope it doesn't show up as a Gamestop exclusive or some junk.

I am thinking the content for the guide will be something for multiplayer and eventually be rolled into the game like almost all the pre-order content for Mass Effect 3 (I believe the only pre-order content that wasn't included in other DLC was the armor from Gamestop). Because its an overpriced one run edition and if there was something for the single player aspect of the game I don't think it would end well.
Now for the Deluxe edition the "future content" still could be related to the game itself its just not finished enough to announce, my guess is when the game goes to certification which will be probably very soon if it hasn't happened already if its single player content it will be announced. My guess right now based on prior BioWare games is that its going to be the first paid DLC, but since its not Day 1 content they haven't been talking about it yet to avoid the whole "stripped out of the game" fiasco that would arise.

I think if they had any retailer pre-order content it would be announced by now and from what I have seen all the pre-order content is based around the Flames of the Inquisition Pack and whatever the Prima Guide is getting.

i believe in one of the trailers it shows the 6 things you get with the deluxe edition, you get that bog unicorn, some special throne and some other stuff, i'd go look for the video now, but its late, obviously its not one of the ones dragonage uploaded to youtube, IGN or one of them other gaming channels did.

By now it doesn't seem farfetched it might be a little MP booster pack, like say a small platinum fund, maybe free early unlocks of some gear or character kits. Could also be something else entirely ...
I'm also pretty sure that it's something related to MP, maybe one of the unlockable classes or a bunch of gold or something like that, to make the start easier. It'd make sense to include some kind of MP bonuses and as there are none in yet, it's likely that this would be it. I wouldn't care for MP bonuses much (even though I want to try out the MP eventually) because theses bonuses are usually very minimal as to not give an unfair advantage. Since i didn't get the Deluxe Edition in the hopes of good unanounnced content but only for the soundtrack
it doesn't matter much to me either way.
Dragonling pet that you can train and watch grow into a mighty dragon that will eventually help defend Skyhold against whatever hostile forces that will inevitably besiege your headquarters at some point in the story?
Oooooh, I want that!!! Bioware please! Skyhold needs its personal dragon. The game is called Dragon Age after all! Puhlease!

God if its only mulitplayer content I am not going to be happy...I've already payed more the $400 for my Dragon Age Inquisitor stuff including
Inquisitors Edition Chest, INquisitors Edition Guide Book, and The Art of Dragon Age Inquisition...I don't play Multiplayer games...I would feel really cheated if the new content was multiplayer only. Honestly I hope its content for our Keep like for customising.

A guesstimate a month ago was that it was in the marketing plan for release in a month.
So 'soon'...
Thank you for the clarification.
Would you happen to know when they'll be releasing information on the 'bonus digital content' that comes with the Digital Deluxe Edition? A number of people asked when the DDE was revealed and I believe all the devs could tell us then was 'We'll let you know later.'
You are right; it is a little confusing. The Deluxe Edition contains all 3 pre-order items for all time, as a pre-order or not. The Standard Edition will contain the Flames of the Inquisition Arsenal only if you pre-order it via Origin or participating retailers.
The Deluxe Edition is for both physical and digital on all platforms in Canada.
I know there is a date for this information in the marketing plan, but I don't know it off-hand. Another month, as a wild guess.

I'm going to agree with everyone else and say that it's probably MP content, though I wouldn't be opposed to something for Skyhold. It really depends on what it is and how it functions - I don't think we've seen much pertaining to it other than it being customizable. I'd like to have some more things for it if it gives us actual bonuses to our agents or something of the like. Otherwise, I don't care too much about it.

Ugh... I hope it's not related to multiplayer... that would be worthless to me. I pre-ordered a single player game and I expect bonus single player content. Although Araceil makes a good point about them withholding the details for so long...
I'm comfortably safe in guessing that we will be treated to both MP & single player additional bonus content, but then I'm optimistic!

I am slightly confused, if people are going to be upset that its not content they are going to like, why pre-order in the first place because you don't have all the information about what you are getting?

I was sold when I saw the Bog Unicorn, and the dragon skull throne, everything else is just gravy

You preorder something like the Deluxe, Collectors, or Inquisitor's edition because there are limited numbers of them, and not doing so immediately results in never being able to get them...
I just got the Deluxe version(which is just the "bonus DLCs") If i find i'm not getting value, I can always cancel that preorder and get the standard game... That said, I think those who ordered the Collector's/Inquisitor's edition and would complain about one aspect of the bounty are, well, insane. They already know they are getting value for their purchase, because if they were placing the majority of the value of those editions on DLC, they wouldn't have gotten those editions to begin with.

This. I don't get this at all, if you preordered the Deluxe Edition at a time where the content was yet unannounced how can you base your decision on this unannounced content only...? Did you really look at the known content, said "yeah well I wouldn't pay extra for THAT, but hey, there is some unannounced content! That makes it worth it I want that!" Really...?
And no, I don't think the Deluxe Edition is limited in any way.
Edit: or is it...?

To my knowledge the Deluxe version isn't limited, I am not even sure if it won't be available one way or another after the game's release. For the N7 version of Mass Effect 3 is still available on Origin. Now some areas don't have access to the Deluxe version at retail, but there have been rumours of that an "upgrade" will be available through Origin.

Have to wonder how much longer they can wait until announcing what the content is. If it's MP related then what's the hold up now that we know about MP now?
