What I am hoping is that you can break down the items and remake better items that look the same with the crafting system, that way they aren't "this weapon is all you will ever need", but I can keep using the item I got from digital content if I choose to.

Actually, I don't want more DLC-weapons at all. It ruins the game. Looting is half the fun and if you already have these great DLC-weapons then whats the point in looting? The DLC-weapons ruinied so much of DA2 for mer (since you could not loot for your companions) and some of DA:O, and Awakening. Theres nothing worse then finding a cool wreapon and notice that the one you got as a DLC are way better.
Then again, it's not fun to finally being able to get the DLC-weapon and se that it's now useless because you are at a to high level (yeah, I'm looking at you, Fable!).

That is why I am just hoping for you to break it down, for if all it does is give you a unique look to higher level weapons you are still out looking for other materials to make better weapons and armor, you just can have the option to make the higher level items look like the low level pre-order content if you wish.

But it still takes the fun out of it.

Not to me. For me the loot is the point of looting. Geting new gear.

I hope it's a few extra missions rather than armor/weapon packs.

I rather not have anything like that because of "you took it out of the main game for DLC"

Yeah, to many idiots out there thinking the worse about the company if they do that sort of Day One DLC (and ruined it for everybody) and that is the reason Bioware have said that there will be no Day One story DLC and no downloadable companions. They will probobly work on MP DLC during the time they uasally made the Day One DLCs (the game going gold to the release).

You don't get experience points from looting.

Assuming it would be some multiplayer bonus content, what kind of bonus would you guys prefer?

A unique skin for the base classes.

You exp for killing what had the loot or by opening the locks that contain the loot for the most part.

Enh, I'm not so sure the repeated act of bending over really equates to any meaningful life lesson.

it counts as squatting and toning your butt. Why do you think Miranda keeps doing that?

in all seriousness, loots are so useless in da2 that there's no point even picking them up, at least give us an incentive.

Forward bends traditionally have been used to stretch hamstrings and spine. Particularly applicable to opening loot chests or looting corpses, Adho Mukha Svanasana, or Downward-Facing Dog, and Balasana, or Child's pose are two common yoga poses used for stretching and relaxing in forward bend. Warriors and Rogues may bend forward over extended legs to loosen tight hamstrings whilst looting. Picking up loot provides repetitive forward bend exercise. But not all party members can safely use forward bends. The spirit possessed or mages specialising in frost magic should exercise caution when putting pressure on the spine with forward-bending loot collecting, particularly when casting cold damage spells (as they will not be properly warmed up).

It's also worth mentioning that any party member should exercise considered lifting techniques when picking up heavy armours or weapons. Party members must not carry more than their authorised carrying limit and may suffer from musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) caused, or made worse, by dungeon crawling if even an additional pair of torn trousers is considered for inventory. Anyone involved in the moving and handling of loot could be at risk. Injuries and suffering can be linked to any work involving handling of booty. There are risks in handling even light loads of Elfroot or Deep Mushrooms if done repetitively in damp or poor conditions. Poor ergonomics and haphazard battlefield layout are a factor in many hazardous collecting tasks. Risks can be found in all locations, but crypts, caves and dungeons are recognised as high-risk locations due to the number and nature of the loot collection injuries that may be suffered.

Well then the smart thing to do with extra story content DLC is to not release it day one but wait a few months and then release it. Day one releases are suspicious and do smack of cut-content.

I totally agree with you, I really hated that in DA2.
It made basically everhything you found while playing useless. The same with the companion rings/belts/amulets. I don't mind that they exist - but I want to find it. To earn it. Not just have them there from day one.

It was far better handled in DA:O. At least there you had to first earn the object  (and yes, I feel that I earned the Reaper's Cudgel)  before it ended up in your inventory. Though I would still prefer to find it while playing (like the metal for Starfang)

I loved the DLC portions of DA:O since it made the story go on in a way.
Some think it's wrong to charge more for content that could have been in the game to begin with. But I liked getting new content as time went by, It really prolonged my experience  :) And it wasn't expensive in any way.

So I would love to see some extra mission DLC's later on.

But as for the additonal content here...My guess would be something for multiplayer. Maybe and extra class that won't be available for otherwise until later?

Hmm, all those likes on my comment. I have to ask, do you mean the idea of a pet dragon, or the big head toggle? Or both?

One possibly fortunate byproduct of hatching your own dragon, would be if it were male, you could use the full grown Drake as a mount. BioWare said no flying dragon mounts, but a Drake is incapable of flight, soo ...

I'd also take a Wyvern mount. The game takes part a good deal in Orlais and we know from the MotA DLC it's an Orlesian thing to have Wyvern pets and use them as mounts.

Imagine you could also summon those as combat pets, not just as mounts out of combat. BioWare, please!

I prefer mounts, decorative items that are easter eggs for old fans rather than op equipment.

Something like Feast Days would be fun, it doesn't affect approval you just give your companions something and it appears in their room in Skyhold. They either love like a pet rock or hate like a indestructible pigeon.

But isn't it silly if they have to wait to release DLC they already have ready?

Of course it's silly. But if a bunch of your customers are being silly, sometimes it makes sense to go along with them. (Though it's annoying that making the hysterical idiots happy means delaying the DLC for everyone.)

Whether it actually would make sense in this case .... I dunno. You keep some folks happier, but you sell less DLC since by the time you release it some players will have moved on.

Not to mention, a delayed release isn't inherently indicative that it's not ripped from day 1. Devs could always rip it out and hold onto it for later.

You're getting plenty of bonus single player content: the Flames of the Inquisition armor, arsenal, and mount; the Red Hart Halla and Bog Unicorn mounts; the Skyhold Throne; and the digital soundtrack.

So what, still hoping it's not mp, otherwise I'd need to consider my purchase of the Inquisitor's Edition when I can the stuff with the Deluxe edition.

Not sure if I agree that people will have moved on by then. Of course it depends on how great the game is. Bethesda was releasing DLC for Skyrim a year after the initial release that sold well. If this game is a smash-hit there will be people playing it six months to a year after it's release in probably large numbers.
