This is just a thread to talk about Fiona now. lol

She is a Elven mage. Former grey warden who doesn't have the taint any longer. was a semi important character in Asunder. Alistairs mother.

And voice of many mage's.

Will we see her in inquisition? is Alistair going to meet her? or will she die with the divine and so many others?

*sigh* Now that the OP has changed, this post seems out of place so I have to delete it...

Fiona was confirmed as Alistair's mother a little while back...  It was during a chatroom thing, I think.

I strongly believe we will see Fiona in Inquisition. She is the leader of the mages so it makes sense for us to be able to meet her while dealing with them. Not to mention it has been said the "Fiona is Alistair's mother" thing will be dealt with in Inquisition, and considering she is the only person who knows(Duncan and Maric being the only other 2 and are both dead) they really cannot do it without her.

I wonder if the is going to be given the choice to out Alistair for being an Elf. not that i would, but just as a choice.

I hope she contracts the Blight again and dies, but I somehow suspect that won't happen to queen of the special snow flakes.

I don't think so. Alistair is still a human and a Theirin. Though there may be a mission where someone tries and you stop them thus earning points with Alistair and Fiona which will help the Inquisition.

I think a child from one human and one elven parent is 100% human, so probably not. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong though.

No, you are correct. The offspring of an elf and another race will be the other race.

Its both confirmed that she is no longer blighted and she is also Alistair's mother. God... certain members here went to utter limits to prove it wrong... in your face anyone?

Regardless I'm looking forward to see her in Inquisition. She wants the best possible solution for mages to live a much easier life without being a danger to anyone. Autonomy in circles. I support this idea wholeheartedly.

Even if she dies, which I'm totally OK with, she is a figure now. A rallying call to any mage in Thedas. She is either a martyr or a leader in Inquisition. No other way.

Though they aren't respected. i mean look at michel, if anyone found out he had elven blood, they would kill him.

And i doubt any nobles would want a half blooded King on the throne, even if he is 100% human. and born from a orlesian mage no less.

While I'm sure there's prejudice against half-elves, Michel was impersonating a chevalier.

As for Alistair being an elf-blooded human on the throne. He's also been King for awhile too. Fereldans are prejudiced against elves but removing him from the throne would be a rather big deal.

I think a bigger issue is Alistair has a MAGE mother and potential heirs will have magic now.

I hope we don't see her and reunion with alistair.Da isn't soap opera there is already too much attention for single group of characters and enormous numbers of connections between those characters and that is only 1 of many.

Fiona has an actual role in the story, though, being as she's presumably the "Team Mage Head."

I also can't be too hard on her as the Grey Warden who advocates rash, bold, immediate action with anti-Templar ideas.

Because, well, that was me.

Well to be honest i don't have problem with fiona herself but more bigger picture with returning characters i rly don't want turn into "alistair mommy issues" or "Tuesday with leliana".I hope they will finish her off along with divine despite i have nothing against character and that they will stop bring more previous characters.

I'm curious if she will be just part of the mage rebellion or also support the elves in their fight.

I do confess, if they're going to keep bringing back characters, they should stop switching us around protagonist wise every game.

Any anti alistair noble would use anything as fire, doesn't have an heir, is an elf, mother is a mage in a rebellion, pretty much if anyone found out the nobility would try to eat him alive, even if he has populous support. and then what if he doesn't? The mage war, and what ever actions Briala is going to make, a lot of hate are going to be pointed at two things in Alistairs heritage.

Personally i dont think she will support Briala. she seems much more at kin with the Mage's then she does with her own people. and the circle is her true home, she grew up there, went away for a while, then came back. and mage's seem to have equal rights inside the circle. i mean in kirkwall they had a elf first enchanter. So i think she is going to stay out of that conflict.

Probably.

While I disagree it's a dealbreaker, it will be used against him because Fereldan's nobility is a snakepit and it's STILL the nicest group of them.
