Yeah. It seems like there's times Meredith was very lenient and others where it's said she's too harsh, corrupt, etc. Does it depend on when she got the lyrium idol?
Perhaps. Idunna was in Act 1, so it would be before the idol was any issue.

Aka she was a self deluded narcissist who really doesn't care who dies for her cause.
Like Anders, but with less terrorism and more insurrection.
That's more Adrian's shtick. We don't see enough of Fiona to make that kind of call.
The fact that most think he sounds stupid even when he trying to prove himself, but somehow still becomes competent part. That's sue-ish. Everyone liking you isn't a requirement to be a sue.
He only becomes competent if you harden him*again with being at the Warden's mercy* otherwise it's implied*if not outright stated* he'll just be a puppet ruler.*for Eamon or the Warden*

She refused Lambert's offer of mercy.
You know the often ignored: Offer that if you leave me the supposed serial killer, you can all return to your towers and things will be ****** doory.
It's funny that you would claim we don't know enough of her to make that call; when she basically instigates that battle, she stubbornly refused the Seeker when it was obvious it was a very bad time to do so.
._. Hunkey is censored here?
Odd.

Yes, but if 10 years have changed Leliana with or without the warden's involvement, why wouldn't they have changed Al as well? We're to take it as a given that Cullen is different this time around as well, IIRC, and it's only been a couple years. None of the other epilogue slides are meant to be permanent, why would only one be?

Well if in a decade he's become a decent king I STILL don't see how that would make him a sue...

I'm guessing you haven't seen him in the comics.

That may be hardened Alistair.
That may be hardened Alistair.
He's a hard man...
He's a hard man...
He's a drunk who doesn't follow your rules!
He's living on the edge man!

I give him props for one single act :/
He was more successful then my PC at killing witches of the wild.

Morrigan survived :/
Cheater.
But Alistair finally get something right! The pointy metal stick goes INTO the mage.

I may have to completely change my views on Alistair after this.
Anyone who can get away with killing someone like Morrigan can't be ALL bad.

Honestly it wouldn't be that hard you would think right?
I mean come on, they all are wearing swamp bikini's you probably could disembowel them with a butter knife.
He's a hard man...
Yes he is. ![]()
Yes he is.

Yup.
Seemed appropriate.

Damn magic mirror of "We wouldn't let you kill this character off in a DLC"
Tell her to ****** off when she wants me to kill mommy dearest. Tell her to ****** off AGAIN when she springs the baby trap. Stab her. AND SHE STILL COMES BACK FOR MORE.
To be honest, I found that action somewhat excessive.

Eh
She deserved.
Eh
She deserved.
Morrigan, Fiona, Celene, Adrian, ect. If I can kill at least 2 of those I'll be happy.
I'm guessing you haven't seen him in the comics.
Well considering in my games Anora's ass is warming the throne and he's either dead by Arch-Demon or still in the Wardens...

Or a wandering drunk who claimed he was a prince?

And in mine he's king. Doesn't really matter, since we're talking about Alistair the character, which has extended beyond Dragon Age: Origins.

Loghain always gets his head chopped off so...
no

Bummer.

According to the devs the comics are only canon to their world state and regardless the only thing of note from them I can remember from the summaries I've read is he may have dragon blood...that does nothing for him.
