That's not my point. And I'm taking about the circle and the templers. I'm saying no one can force them back into the circle because no one can find them.

I doubt they would force the Hero of Ferelden, arguably one the most successful Warden's in history, to rejoin the Circle, when all Hawke had to do was get rich and roast a few qunari.

Grey Wardens don't have to stay in Circles anyways

The Warden left the Wardens after Awakening, for the most part. No one stopped them. The Circle doesn't matter to special snowflakes, the rich, or the powerful. Plenty of mages lived legally outside the Circle in Ferelden.

And whom is to say that it wasn't the same all over anyway?

At the very least, doing special services for the Crown seems to indicate that you can get a pass from living in the Circle.

Is Asunder the only time Fiona appeared? Because i want to know if im missing anything on her back story. How do we even know she was cured of the taint? She must be in one of the first two books?

Kirkwall is different from Fereldin.

Only when they are outside of it. When they go back it's another matter.

Meredith also made it clear part of the reason she let Hawke run wild is he had an astounding ability to stumble on Blood Mages and kill them.

I think she was merciless enough to ignore the dead Templars he/she left in their wake too.

Carver flatout says no one can touch you because of how rich you are.

Carver is also an idiot.

But there would have been rioting in the streets after Act II.

No templar in their right mind is going to try to force the beloved Hero of Fereldan into a circle or someone who has made a living killing them in Hawke (who after act 2 is also pretty beloved by the city for taking it back from the Qunari). It's just a waste of time and more liable to end up with the would be arrester six feet under with everyone else acting like they don't know what happened.

You're going to have to leave this thread and not comeback. And do you really think Meredith gave an apology to anyone that she would suspect was a blood mage. Not unless they have serious pull.

Hey, I can say that to Carver because he's my little brother.

replace council, with Divine

When they give a horrible order that would kill innocents on the global scale. Lanburt's actions caused way more harm then him ignoring what the divine told him to do.

What is a peaceful discussion going to do that worst then what he caused?

In the review I'm writing for Asunder, I basically say that it's a situation everyone was agitating for, at least unconsciously.

The Mages wanted more freedom now and weren't going to compromise unless they got it.

The Templars wanted less freedom now and weren't going to compromise unless they got it.

Simple as that.

But at the very least the majority of the mages wanted to talk about it peacefully while the majority of the templers wanted to physically enforce it. The templers are still mostly in the wrong for being so dogmatic.

they were enforcing the laws of the Chantry, the mages were essentially speaking heresy

Yeah it'd be literal career suicide.

I hope we see Fiona in DA: I. Shes the leader of the rebel mages so it makes sense that she'd be in the game unless she dies during the peace summit. That would suck.
