The abuses were explicitly being hidden from the leadership.

People's complaints about Meredith prior to Act 3 were because she was a hardass with a lot of influence, not because she was doing anything illegal.

But we know that Elthina knew about the attrition between fanatics and qunari and mage and templars.

[Hawke]You are useless ---> [Elthina]What do you want me to do? To set the mages free or to kick the qunari out of the city? Lolnope, I want it to continue like that. If it degenerates, not my problem!

Orsino as First Enchanter should have known about the abuses, and he should have talked to Elthina. But if he didn't, it doesn't matter: all the city know. Cullen is even upset about it, since people stopped helping templars. Do you think that the rumor didn't reach one of the most powerful personalities in the city? Improbable, but if it didn't, then Elthina was both incompetent and stupid, and that's doesn't make her innocent: it simply makes her guilty in a different way.

I hope we see Fiona in DA: I. Shes the leader of the rebel mages so it makes sense that she'd be in the game unless she dies during the peace summit. That would suck.be really awesome

I've had enough of BioWare and their Mary Sues, she needs to be gone

Lolno. I've never seen someone make a single deadly disease just disappear and then bring in the next generation of Dragon-Kings.

>Mary Sue is a fictional trope

TIL real people are actually fictional tropes, or vice verse, not sure which is better

The real kind of mary sues exist in real life. It doesn't have to be some destiny bullsh**.

People who have perfect jobs and meanwhile also study at the same time with perfect grades. You can see them in every goddamn party. Oh and they play video games as much as you do too. Did I mention they get enough sleep too and are always in a good mood? Not to mention they have a perfect partner too.

Except one is a character trope created by an author, and the other is an actual person. Even then, most of those people don't rise into prominence and lead factions in war in the name of "freedom from oppression." Finally, perfect people don't exist. The brain isn't wired that way, everyone everywhere has a flaw, most several. It's a fact of life

You know who else is a Mary Sue?  Jesus Christ in the Bible.  Talk about a creator's pet, that guy just walks on water.

we call those people usually, sometimes we add in "those who have their **** together"

there isn't some writer guiding them to having those traits, unless you think these people are blessed by Thor/Zeus/Yahweh/Quetzalcoatl /etc...

As I've said before.  Mary Sue is a meaningless pejorative.  It has no more meaning applied to real people than it does to fictional characters.

Perfect job? What is a perfect job?

I get enough sleep and I'm most of the time in a good mood. Since I got emotions I also can be in a bad mood. Since that's natural for humans to do.

And no relationship is perfect.

I hope she contracts the Blight again and dies, but I somehow suspect that won't happen to queen of the special snow flakes.

Either that or goes kaboom in the first fade breach explosion...

I think the question of whether she survives the explosions is most likely answered by asking this question.

Does assassinating her make the world more or less stable?

It basically takes the wind out of the sails of the rebellion so i'd assume it would lead to the rebellion basically collapsing on it self.

It would shatter their organization, so a mixture of both but ultimately it would likely bring more stability then chaos.
