Going over from the Herald of Andraste thread.
I think Fiona is a character which doesn't work because of multiple reasons but I think the biggest problem is she warps the narrative of two major story arcs. For one, she's forced herself into the role of being the Libertarian Anti-Templar mage which was already held by either Hawke or Anders depending on the player's actions. Likewise, she's also warped Alistair's story.
He used to be the poor bastard son of Maric and a peasant who just happened to have the right blood at the right time. Now he's a half-elf son of the Grand Enchanter.
That's not good.
I don't have a problem with the Taint Cure as much as others because it was the Architect who did it. Avernus probably COULD cure the Taint but he knows how to make you live LONGER than normal with it so what's the point?

yeah sorry the taint cure put her in my burn it with fire group.
I hate when special snowflake gets the cure to awful disease because oh look. WHOOPS. It's so goddamn stupid. She should've turned into a ghoul like the rest of the wardens regardless of origin, birth and specialness to the plot.
