There is also a grey warden base there, that might be where Alistair and Fiona are going to meet for the first time.

Regardless I'm looking forward to see her in Inquisition. She wants the best possible solution for mages to live a much easier life without being a danger to anyone. Autonomy in circles. I support this idea wholeheartedly.
Support whatever you want but you can't claim she has any interest in mages not being a danger to anyone because Fiona has failed to outline a single plan regarding what to do with magic beyong "Freedom Now!"
In fact, one could rightfully claim the last thing she is interested in is the safety of anyone, normal and mage alike, because she is one of the main proponents of the war and uses the excuse that she didn't personally kill anyone to avoid taking up responsability for the deaths it will cause.

I hope she was the summit.
Biggest mary sue in the whole DA franchise.
I would rather say that's Leliana after all she can come back from the DEAD.

She and I are in good company then.

Where is Fiona explored? In Asunder she gets barely a mention - I assume comics?
My initial intuition is that her and I will not get along (especially given the company she keeps "Adrian").

She's the Deutrotagonist with Maric in the Calling.
They have an affair and she gives birth to Alistair at the end.

If we get to meet her in DAI, I hope we get to ask her about the Warden, what she thinks of him/her. It could be interesting to see her reaction to the various outcomes of the Landsmeet.

That's just a retcon but Fiona is an elf mage, former slave, turned Grey Warden, cured of the Taint, a dragon king's lover, mother of another, who ran from the Grey Wardens without consequences, became Grand Enchanter and is now a freedom fighter. Have I already mentioned she was your mentor's best friend?
Ugh.

So what? Not like she could rely on peaceful solutions. Remember what happened when she merely proposed autonomy in a diplomatic meeting? Lambert raged and circle of enchanters were disbanded. This is tyranny right here. Tighten security, demote officers at mere idea of a little bit of freedom.Support whatever you want but you can't claim she has any interest in mages not being a danger to anyone because Fiona has failed to outline a single plan regarding what to do with magic beyong "Freedom Now!"

With diplomacy failing the only way to bring a change to circle system is the aggressive way. While she didn't commit any of that, for every Martin Luther King or Anne Frank or Rosa Parks or Gandhi you see in the world, there are people with blood on their hands who give the rest of the world the opportunity to take the moral high road. These leaders were great but the opportunity to rise up was granted to them by abhorrent actions of others. In Fiona's case it was Anders, Adrian and Cole.
You honestly think no innocent were killed when Andraste conquered the world? No children were killed? No one was raped? (her army were BARBARIANS) Change usually does not come peacefully.

Eh, I'm okay with it because it means my Grey Warden, Hawke, and Inquisitor's craziness is less unbelievable.

It's ridiculous. I hope there's a way the Inquisitor can manipulate Alistair into killing her. She's not doing the character any favors. I like him a lot less as a result, that's for sure.

If we're really lucky she'll be one of the "unfortunates" at the peace summit. If we're slightly less lucky we'll have the option to put her down should we side with the Templars.

She isn't the first to leave the Grey Warden, I'm sure.
Anders did it to and he can even talk to grey wardens without any consequences either.

She is so much less of a snowflake than Hawke and Warden. So you think snowflakes should only be player characters? Loghain was also one before events of DAO. He succeeded at everything he did, he restored Ferelden itself.

Lolwut. He curses wardens every minute and how glad he is to be rid of them and he is sad because he cannot get rid of the taint.

Wardens have more or less freedom in-between Blights from what we can see.
At least your GW can do whatever they want if all the endings of Origins are any indication.
Plus, Alistair left too.

Unless they've gone DA2 style crazy I'll probably side with the mages more often than not so I'm hoping her snowflakeness died at the summit.

Well, he could've been ok if one of them didn't try to kill him. And he mainly curses darkspawns and the deep roads, it's not like he hated the wardens. Though... he curses everything in DA2, so whatever.

Did you even read what you typed? I get that she's your husabandu's momma and you have some nonsensical need to defend her, but that doesn't change the facts. You should read JB's post again and again until it makes sense.

See that's just the thing. If she doesn't die at the summit and remains the Mage leader I'm going to HAVE to side with the Templars, Every. Single. Time.
As opposed to ALMOST every single time.
