There were issues I had both how Bethany and Morrigan was written. I NEVER understood why you couldn't have Bethany in the party if you were a Mage. I think the story could have been way way more compelling than stoopid boring carver. There were so many more avenues for conflict and character development with then both being Mages.. Arrgggg.....lazy BW writing.

 

As far as Morrigan (and Leliana) goes I think they had the romance options wrong.  It makes more sense someone raised in the wilds out of the influence of the Chantry would be open to both genders where as Leliana would be more logical to be just romancable by males. Don't get me wrong, I prefer Leliana as my LI but from a story POV it seems odd to me. What the hell do I know though.
