For the drone, go for the rockets. Add sentry turret as well for spectator mode. Shock, cryo ammo, rockets is my typical build. Add Tali and her drones and you've got lolz not seen since ME1 biotic squads.

Chain overload or bust. Why stun one enemy when you can prime 3? Gives you top tier crowd control.

I didn't go for the rockets deliberately, the idea was to make drone's basic shock attack to do noticeable damage. Didn't work out well though. The problem with rockets is that they change drone AI, causing it to get away from the enemies.
No Snakes Alive had made a drone-focused build and RedCaesar had a playthrough of Drone Master Engineer. The idea for this build was to have a drone that deals noticeable damage as another squadmate but it didn't work. Much faster to kill enemies with Sabotage-Overload combo, I ended up not using drone at all.

Rocket drone does noticeable damage. Teamed with a turret, you can have enemies flanked on all fronts by spawning them behind your foes.

I know
I prefer my drone to be close to the enemies though, since it makes it safer to pop out of cover. More enemies focus on drone when it's close

Why prime 3 enemies when you can strip the shields across the entire room by detonating an overload? I've never specced into chain overload, it's just not necessary. And you want the extra damage on things like Atlasses and Banshees. Which are pretty much the only enemies you'll ever run into where's it's really necessary to use an Overload. Weaker shielded/barriered enemies can be killed by biotic detonations, or even fire detonations.
P.s. you don't choose between stunning and chain overload. You choose between stunning and recharge speed.
