I expected their to be more choices because you have to have one and I was hoping the older designs would be available to. That said I still like all of them so i am not unhappy. I dunno which one I will pick though.
It's odd that a couple of them only have one version and one has three versions while the rest have two.

WOOT! It looks like everyone is getting behind this. Maybe we'll get to see all vallaslin designs.
You know, it's been almost a month since Matt Rhodes said that he was going to an update on the vallaslin lore. I'm starting to I think he forgot.

Aww they didn't give a forehead-only version of Elgar'nan. It was so unique, yet not too much.
Elgar'nan and June are still my favorites. I think some Fabulous Gold coloring would fit my Flamboyant Elf playthrough. >:3

I like Falon'din, Ghilan'nain and Fenris.. I mean JUNE ones.
BTW, you have lovely paint-handwriting.. at least I think it's paint..

The one you think is Falon'din I have to say it's Dirthamen just because in his story it mentions ravens and that symbol on the forehead resembles a raven. The first image is IMO Mythal, and Ghilan'nain image I think is actually Falon'din. Hopefully there's more because none resembles Ghilan'nan ink from Origins
The 7th image looks like halla horns to me. Not so much in this img but from what we've seen of it without hair in the way.
I miss some of the old designs, Ghilan’nain especially, but I'm happy with the choices we have. Lore is going to make this decision for me because I'm struggling to choose on aesthetics alone.
Sucks that my fav one from Origins isn't there (it was the same one Marethari had in the dalish origin), I'll probably use the non-braveheart Elgar'Nan one then
Nice to see the tattoos and seeing that there are quite a few I like the look of. Better need to read up on my lore though since it's been way to long since I've played DAO and I don't recognize half these names anymore. I'm a bad DA fan. I do really like the second one to the left on the second row a lot so I'll most likely go with that and just build my elf a bit around the meaning of the tattoo since I don't have an elf set in stone yet.
So I checked and Elgar'Nan is the creator god responsible for creating forests, he kicked the sun's ass and he's the one elves invoke when they want revenge or to destroy something. I'm totes picking that

I was wondering this, too. Elven inquisitor is going to be my first playthrough so I would really like to know what each tattoo represents. I've never tweeted anyone but I would be willing to give it a try if only I knew who to tweet (now that Rhodes isn't the one handling it anymore).

Yes, and I said some posts back that I asked him again and he said it wasn't in his hands anymore.
I think I read or heard somewhere that they're not going to reveal which vallaslin means which Creator, to allow for each dalish warden and inquisitor to pick the one they like the look of the most, instead of being forced to use one they don't like but matches their personality.
Got some replies. They did make a chart, marketing got excited about it and took it, and its current status is unknown.
