Hey everybody,
How do you change the weight of an item? I assumed you could easily change it in properties, but I don't see a spot.

baseitems.2da
column: TenthLBS

= wt. x 10

other than that, weights of individual items can be adjusted using itemproperties:

Weight Increase ( + or - )
Base Item Weight Reduction ( % of baseitem wt. )

hm, to get nonstandard values the IP(s) could perhaps be repeatedly assigned ... till you get what you want (but, unchecked)

there is an option in the itemproperties called weight increase with various amount options. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

The 2das that control these properties are fairly easy to edit if you intend to do a lot of this. To make boots/helmets/gloves weight adjusted I just set them all to be 10 lbs. and added new % reduction properties with names like 1 lb. (for 90% reduction), etc. This way you won't adversely affect the item's gold cost, because using the standard weight reduction counts as an enchantment.
