I spent a decent chunk of time just looking over the heroic accomplishments just to make sure that everything was going as planned and would love to see a new and improved version of this feature in DA:I.
Can we haz Heroic Accomplishments Pwease?

Please explain what you are referring to as I'm a tad lost.... is that a feature that I'm not familiar with in the previous DA games??

I like to know how much damage I'm dealing, what percentage of the world I have completed, and whos' is doing their job the way they should.
I liked the Heroic Accomplishments they had. They had a menu for it if I remember correctly.

In DA:O, there was a tab on the character info which listed some of the stats both of that character and of the party. Things like damage done (both in abosolute terms and as a percentage of the party's total damage), hit rate, toughest enemy killed, breakdown of the types of enemies killed, how much money you'd spent and so one. Not that useful but interesting stuff to know.

I think that sums it up well. I think the Devs could put this info in the game available to be able to see so that if I think a person is not doing so well I can make changes making them more useful.

That featrure needs to be improved. A lot of the number confused me. Especially damage contributian to party. Have they taken into consideration that the hero is the only permanent party member?

OH!!! Yes please!!! I like that in DA:O!

I hope they keep that in consideration. It would be nice to know how much I use each character. I think it would also be useful if I knew whos been taking the most damage and who has had to be revived the most to complement the already known damage output. Having some sort of interactive selections to narrow down some things would be super as well. Like if I wanted to know if which of my tanks is better at a certain thing like damage absorption VS. damage output I could just view my warriors and line up their stats. I really like knowing percentages too.

So you want the Statistics tab from Dragon age origins back? that seems reasonable to me.

yeah. I never got a chance to play DA 2 so I never got to see if there was anything like that in that game. I just thought Verric was really quirky so I never bought the game. He seems like a decent guy and I liked when he said "Its raining demons" but thats about all I know about him.

I did like knowing, and trying to beat, Mana Clash records.

Maybe if we could visit each character's stats individually and be able to compare and contrast them in an understandable way it would make the game easier to understand. I like knowing what my characters strengths and weaknesses are so I can prepare them to kill the enemy in an intelligent way. I can't tell yet if this is going to be a min-max game yet though.

This might sound like way too much work to some of you but I always made sure that my warden character was alway the one to actually kill the Archdemon. After trying to do this several times (having to start from a relatively far back saved game because of the slew of enemies I had to conquer to actually kill the damn thing) I ended up figuring out the "wait" function in combat tactics since they did not have a "do not attack" option.

What about all the non companion npcs attacking it?

They weren't around anymore. I have my ways.
Also when you're playing on on the hardest difficulty they don't last very long.

I hope they bring back most powerful foe slayed. Brought in a sense of competition among my companions.
I will never live down the shame of Zevran taking Gaxkang away from me. You Antivan bastard.

That kinda thing annoyed me, id do most of the damage & a companion would steal it by getting the finishing move

Zevran took the Sacred Ashes High Dragon kill from me by a hairsplit in my first playthrough. Bastard even got that awesome dragon deathblow animation, first time I saw it in the game too. ![]()
I was romancing him though so my Warden wasn't mad about it, it just gave him the most awkward boner ever to be walking into Andraste's sacred tomb with.

Yes it sucked having Wyne the one who killed the High Dragon the first time around. I was pissed. She wasn't even there as a damage dealing character; she was a freakin healer for christ sakes.

Judging based on a gameplay video from Gamescom 2014, it looks like we will have something very similar to what I am looking for in DA:I regarding heroic accomplishments. Lets hope so...

I always tried to spread the kills around, so that each character's most powerful foe slain was always impressive in its own right.

I had an odd experience where Leliana kept being the one to kill Uldred for several times in a row. It happened in about 5-6 consecutive games and got to the point where I started to think she had some personal grudge against him. While I liked being able to see how much damage each character had done and how many kills they each had, the "Most Powerful Enemy Slain" stat was always very interesting to keep track of. Poor Dog almost always got stuck with either "Howe Soldier" or "Bandit" because I never used him unless I had to...
I was disappointed by the lack of statistics in DA2 and I hope they make a return for DA:I.

Leliana often stole my High Dragon kills.
Yeah statistics were a nice addition, I liked looking at them.

I attempted this too, though I could never get Wynne to kill anything impressive.
Warden had the High Dragon/Flemeth/Archdemon, Leliana had Marjolaine, Shale had Branka, Sten had Gaxkang, etc etc...and Wynne had...a Greater Shade. :S
