I woke up this morning and remembered this,

I'm going to assume that you're posting this now because deep down you're struggling with the fact that the mere thought of a new Mass Effect is making you want to play the game again. But it's a struggle because you feel like you were burned last time and you're not sure if you can trust Bioware after the way things ended between you and them. But dammit if you aren't longing for that feeling again, that rush of adrenaline and you hate yourself for it....

 

I'm here to let you know it's going to be ok.

My favourite was when Hudson promised to answer questions about the ending, once more people had a chance to complete it themselves. Then he hid for two years then quit his job instead.

So... yeah. I mean... This has been talked about to death, and it's one of the reasons Bioware has been keeping information really under the lid going forward, so it's not like they didn't learn their lesson.

 

Plus, Hudson left, so... are you really going to keep harping on this?

I guess I should count Drew quitting on the trilogy before seeing it through to the end as a lie too, since Hudson quitting is now considered a lie too

Time to put the anger away and now find humor in the whole thing. Play the game for fun and enjoy it playing renegade-ass hole Shepard. Fail Shep is too dark and stupid. I mean you should try. Just have Shepard be a psycho for laughs and how everyone in the galaxy still likes Shepard. Do strange things like kill the Quarians and choose Destroy.... or Kill the geth and choose Synthesis.

 

Never choose control because you'll still have to hear: "Shepard once thought Asari needed other species to reproduce."

But I didn't know how many endings I will get or which one of them will be available in my first playthrough.

 

So where is exactly that lie?

You could always do a playthrough by curing the genophage with Wrex and Eve alive, have peace between the Geth and Quarians and have all squadmates alive that can be alive and then choose refuse.

You know, I've always wanted to make a character named Janeway Shepard. Model her after Kate Mulgrew and just have her run around blowing **** up and being a generally insane bitch. Like, that'd be awesome. It'd totally fit with the whole "is completely nuts but everyone still somehow loves her" trope. She could be an Engineer, too.

 

I'm going to pretend she named her drone Neelix, and that she gets this euphoric high every time it explodes without fully understanding why.

Luckily for me I missed all the hype and promos, so I have no idea what you are on about.

Misled yes but not really lied to.  Yeah there is A B C but depending on EMS there really is 1A 2A 3A etc... endings.  Time to move on but if it is still eating at you then best respond with your wallet.  Don't buy DA:I or any of the other EA games I am sure that will teach them.  While I am not to that point I will say I have not forgotten all the ME3 stuff that happened before and after release and because of that I am taking a wait and see with the next dragon age game.

You can find that face on the Faces of Gaming site.  I tried it wasn't all that impressed with it but I think it was a case that the face didn't fit the voice.  Being a crazy B is fun I recommend you try it if you haven't.
