Casey Hudson said that there's nothing lesbian in romancing her though...
Ugh. Don't remind me.

You mean not liking the reduction of lesbians into cheap turn on for men, playing around harmful stereotype that "lesbians need D"?
Well, I'm corrective rape survivor, so I think I have the right to not like it.
Traynor was literally nowhere close to this. I dont know what you're on about.
You have the right not to like anything you want, and I have the right to disagree with you when you say things like "Traynor's romance doesnt count because it also appeals to the menfolk."
I guess that kind of makes up for BioWare's blunder regarding finished romances in Baldur's Gate II... *shrug*
I'd say it makes up for BG2 and JE both. ![]()
ME2 Liara was pretty bad until the DLC, I think even the Voice Actor admitted this
Cassandra and Varric are both known characters. Cassandra even got her own movie.
As for the new characters, we know what they look like and have a good idea what their personality is like. That's enough to feel attraction or not.
And yet the passion for Cassandra is tame next to some of the new characters, and no one seems interested in anything about Varric except for his chest hair.
Just sayin'.
Casey Hudson said that there's nothing lesbian in romancing her though...
Casey Hudson also said ME3 wouldnt force you into a bespoke ending everyone gets. Maybe dont listen to him?

Cassandra was a straight up nasty person in DA2 who turned likeable towards the end
Varric was a walking meme factory, I hope they pull a Valve and don't reference any of that in DA:I :grinch:

You know the chest hair thing is a joke right?
I just don't understand why straight females have so many options. Why couldn't Blackwall be gay or bi. Vivienne should have been an option. DA2 already gives straight female extra options. ME favors lesbians and straight males while DA favor straight females and straight males, I don't think gay males will always get the short end.
"We only get 2 options"
I mean, we do get options, more options than...ever. Different races, orientations, culture, tastes... and everybody has at least 2 options. I simply can't complain, but maybe it's because I like to play with different characters and genders.
Even though I am a little disappointed with how this all played out (the distribution of LI's and the way that they were revealed up until now), I do have to take a moment to reel back in my emotion and remember that I am very thankful to Bioware for continuing romances in their games as it's one of the only places where I can see representation in video games.
Fallous: NV? The last of Us? Borderlands? Persona 4? Gone Home?
And Bioware is far form perfect about representation. There was a game by them that game out two years ago (Theri most expensive game ever made) that had ZERO s/s options.
so yes, that's all you have
And the fact that Traynor was the least developed romance in ME3 considering raw dialogue time and lack of certain scene everyone else had, as I emphasized previously many times...
thank you ^^
So straight women get twice as many romances as guys. I don't really have a problem with this. Maybe it will put an end to slightly reduce part of the complaining, if (some) men and (some) women end up "even stevens" by both getting games where there are unequal numbers of love interests in their favor.
cut from the tv series

Down right criminal it was, i really liked the Tywin/Kevan dynamic in the books also Kevan is a pretty neat character, a shame really...this is why i don't like it when books are turned into to shows/movies.
5 male romances, 3 female romances. *weeps manly tears of anguish*

according to your own incredibly narrow and faulty definition
Gone Home?
Ugh

??? You mean mass effect 3? It had 2 s/s options... not including liara and kaidan...
First, I can't wait to see GameMD83's reaction when she learns that yes, she can romance Mr. Beefcakes with her femquisitors. Her reactions are always hilarious.
Second, I've wanted a straight female warrior romance since Origins so Cassandra is awesome. I liked dawn of the seeker and can't wait to learn more about her. And then theres also ms, scribbles because Leliana taught me I love french ascents lol.

Dragon Age 2 also had more romances for straight women
Um, I think some people here are taking this "romance gender and sexuality" so called imbalance thing into foreign waters.
We have equal romance in our core party in terms of gender and sexuality (3 males, 3 females and out of all 6: 2 staight, 2 pan or bi depending on what you prefer to identify them as, 2 homosexual) It's as equal as it gets.
As for Cullen and Solas, they appear to be "extras". Also, it's kinda cool that female PC's get a bone thrown here, you don't see it very often and I think it's pretty damn awesome (even if elves got most of the EYYY going on, that's ok, elves have crappy lives in DA-verse, let the women have the option to frick-frack with two extra attractive men at least)
We should be thanking the devs for the extra work that got incorporated into the final product rather than make wild, irrational and butthurt-ish remarks. Not nice guys.
Ever?
In order: Viconia, Aerie, Anomen, Aribeth, Aarin Gend, Valen Shadowbreath, Carth Onasi, Bastila, Alistair, Morrigan, Zevran, Fenris... and now Dorian and Cassandra.
??? You mean mass effect 3? It had 2 s/s options... not including liara and kaidan...
Actually, I think he's referring to TOR.
