I get the 'not a happy ending' vibe from Solas for some reason.  I can't quite pin point why though.

I would have to get my female mage with Cullen, just to see the hole mage/templar romance and his views on my mage. My male mage or rouge would have to go with either any feamle I find good looking. I really am excited for it to come out in november if i'm right about the date.

There id an ass shot of Kaidan but you can only see it as femShep. mass effect doesnt care about the gay gamers so it's understandable.

Will we have spontanious sex scenes that are specifically tailored to our LI?

 

Will Iron Bull or Blackwall throw my inquisitor on the banquet table of a just conquered keep, bend her t!ts over a$$ and hammer her like a bent nail? (ok, she needs to be loved as well)

Will my inquisitor have charming outdoor sex in the woods with Solas, or will we he abduct me into the fade so we can create an intimate dream together?

Will my magequisitor be able to play templar and the apprentice with Cullen? Can I get a robe which says "felicitate me" on the back?

So the hundred of millions of people who tan themselves through comsetics, solarium or just the sun,  trying to make their skin look darker are just a imagination? You know, there are also entire companies build around to make the skin look "less white". (they mentioned solariums or cosmetics like tan accelerators)

 

Last I checked no one was forcing white people to tan themselves, nor does anyone imply to them that they hate being white or should not be white. As a matter of fact, their are lots of comsmetic procedures white women get to have non white features and they are praised for their appearance whereas the nonwhite women who were born with such features are still condemned for having them.  White seems to always be right whether your tanned or pale or otherwise.

There is a difference by just stating your opnion about a mod or saying that you would forbid it if it was in your power.It's not your business to decide how other people should play their game, as long as it doesn't affect you And I don't understand why a mod, which makes isabella look lighter gets so much hate here. I dind't use, because I think Isabella looks perfectly fine in Dragon Age 2. She is my favorite character and the only one i always take with me (4 playthroughs). because her conversations with other groupcharacters are just hilaroius. This being said, she is also a love interest and people want to be attracted to her. Some people might be more attracted to certain skin colours or specific looks, so they mod them if they have the opportunity to do so. I have some friends, who prefer asian looking women and I'm pretty sure if they would play Dragon Age and have the opportunity to make a love interest more asian looking they would do it. Would they get all the hate? Probably not. Let's be honest-. All the hate is about making a character look more "white". Would it be the other way (white->brown or black) nobody would care.

I can give you at least one reason why this mod is understandable. Isabella has caucasian features in both the comic screenshots I've seen and the game. If she had african features for example I doubt that anyone would use the mod. It's easy to think of her as a white person with an extreme case of tan.

I find it funny that some people are demanding that others not judge them. Wake up and smell the real world. People judge others all the time. If you whitewash characters, you will be judged. Get over it. If you want to know why you are being judged then go look for the mods to turn Isabella's skin darker than she was in DA2.

I wonder if i played a female elf, if i could do a playthrough where i give Iron Bull, blackwall cullen and solas the run around? Lol. Then have a really tense adventuring party.......or a really interesting one? IB might be down for that? Lol. Or if they wouldnt put up with that sh!t for very long... There are quite a few poc with caucasian features.

Bioware's own whitewashing of Isabella in their promotional material surely didn't help. I blame them for how a lot of people saw her.

However, those mods were described as changing her skin tone to make her sexy and beautiful as though she were not sexy or beautiful until those specific things were changed. But I don't care enough to try to explain even more about race relations, society, media and the affects on poc. The post would be too freaking long and off topic.

 

Anyway, Let's get back to judging each other over romances.
