Did you summarize the time you spent with them in both games?

David didn't write Jaheira (Luke or James did).
Jaheira romance is best romance. The only time in his lovemaking career where David didn't win.
I think it was Luke, but not sure.
And hers is the best XD
I'm trying.
*wields the iron fist of positivity*
*hides under a rock from said fist* XD too many debbie downers around time leave forums for bit i thinks

well seeing all of Miranda's ME3 content is a rehash of her ME2 LM and her romance consists of three extra lines and a cut to black, same for Jack.
Thane and Jacob didn't get half of that
Can you explain what the difference is between a "...cheap turn-on for straight guys..." and "...something that was created with lesbian players in mind."? I don't understand the distinction.
Did you check out this thread? Even that hot tub scene looked different for men and lesbians - was longer and more provocative for men.
Well... Thank you! I can't believe Blackwall is the last LI, I mean, I had my hopes for it but a part of me was almost sure it would be Vivienne. I've never really planned on who to romance before, and now that I was trying to do that for my first playthrough... I have totally no idea what I'll do. So many options
So many awesome characters I can't wait to meet and fall in love with ![]()
Thank you so much, not only for that, but for all the hard work put into DAI. You guys are awesome.
Is it november yet? ![]()
Kinda bummed that my only romance options are Cassandra and Josephine :/
I can understand that. Unfortunately it's always going to happen to someone. There are some that are bummed that their only romance options were Morrigan and Leliana, or Isabela and Merrill.
It sucks when it's you if you're really hoping for that but it's part of the challenges with creating content like this.

uhhhh no
it was an awkward mess for men, and if you romanced her you join her in there
And now they have only one more.
Straight women have two more options than straight males, which makes them have twice as many.
wasn't every single character in da2 bi? excluding dlc characters
Yes. Which means that straight guys got 2 and straight women got 3. And he was Sebastian. I'd say he counts but he was also DLC and... not quite complete. And Tallis was a bisexual woman too, so counting all sexualities, men got 5 and women got 6.
Vivienne friend-zones me before I even got my hands on DAI? Way to play the Game, lady. ![]()
What an Inquisitor gotta do to step up his game? ![]()
This in a way frees me to change up my desired Inquisitor and my desires for a romance. Options, options.
Tallis is more of a flirt than a romance.
EDIT:
Derp, I got all of my answers once I re-read the thread -.-
I can understand that. Unfortunately it's always going to happen to someone. There are some that are bummed that their only romance options were Morrigan and Leliana, or Isabela and Merrill.

Must it always happen to someone, though Allan?
Can it not ever be different in the future?
Is numerical equality for all sexualities nothing but a futile hope?
Edit:
I mean in regards to straight and gay options.
As a person who almost exclusively plays femshep, I dont recall ever being forced to flirt with a man except for that time in ME2 where my character took leave of her senses and forgot Jacob was the most boring man alive and tried flirting with him on her own. When else did this happen?
Some of Vega's later conversations with Femshep only give the PC flirting dialogue options. But it's joke flirting. I'd say if anything the writing made Shepard's sense of humor too predefined rather than her sexuality.
Funny, as much as I love (almost) all of the characters written by all of the writers I have always found Sheryl's romances to be the best.Needless to say, I enjoyed all of the romances in DA series, thank you Bioware for writing such lovely complex characters.
I think we all know Loghain was the best romance........wait.
A question to the devs though:
If your goal (with the two added romances) was to create romances that fit within a smaller scope of protagonists(to make them unique, i presume), why did you put both of the romances into the same small scope (master elven female straight protagonist) while ignoring most of the others ( Qunari, Dwarves, all other gender/sexuallity options) with the other added romance.
Cheers!
....
They just said it's plot-related and personality-related.
I can understand that. Unfortunately it's always going to happen to someone. There are some that are bummed that their only romance options were Morrigan and Leliana, or Isabela and Merrill.

while i understand aren't those comparisons unfair since those were the only females li in those games? i think it better to say that its like only two characters in origins were available to both genders (Liliana and Zevran)
uhhhh no
it was an awkward mess for men, and if you romanced her you join her in there
It didn't have those tasteless shots on her tush and besides - why Sam, being a lesbian, needed to tease manShep?
Regardless, if anyone wants to make up their mind for themselves, the scenes could be easily found on YT, I linked one of them already.

.
This is a DAI thread not a ME3 thread.
I missed the news 'cos I got wrapped up in playing Dishonored. Same happened with Solas' LI reveal. Coincidence? I wonder...
Anyway, good to hear about Blackwall! I was 75% right about him, which is about as high of a percentage I've ever gotten regarding a DAI LI, so I'm quite pleased even if none of my mQuisitors can romance him.
Never thought Cullen would be dwarf-gated, but if it's for a good reason, and I'm sure it is, all's well with me. I'm extremely excited as I get to romance four out of the five guys I've had my eye on since the leaked survey. Sorry, Varric! You shall continue to be admired from afar. ![]()
Maybe for DA4 we'll finally get a dwarfmance, yes? A woman can dream. :3
With Vega.
Incorrect. You , the player, have the option to talk with him or not. So its not forced
If she had more scenes then I woudln't complain about the fact that she was the least developed.
So its the number of scenes that decide whether or not the romance is developed enough for you?
BLACKWELL!!!!!!!
OH MY MAKER I GUESSED HIM SOOOOOOOOOO HARD!!!!
* DANCES*
BUT, FIRST, GONNA ROMANCE CULLEN WITH MY FEMALE ELF INQUISITOR

because she has teased him in the past?
Her "sorry I'm not into men" bit comes to mind.
And none of this explains why you don't think she qualifies as a romance, despite having more scenes than many other romances, generally well received content, and even getting the achievement for the romance
With Vega.
If she had more scenes then I woudln't complain about the fact that she was the least developed.
Let me guess, you're not lesbian, right? And you're not aware about the damaging myths about lesbian sexuality that this kind of portrayal, making the lesbian tease sexually men, reinforces?
Or that the line about house and everything is another lesbian cliche, "lesbian u-haul", especially considering that due to extreme underdevelopment they didn't know each other because they practically didn't talk, though this particular cliche is not that damaging IMO.
Fair enough on the Vega bit. I forgot about that. I try to forget most of Citadel.
Maybe I'm a lesbian. Maybe I'm a straight male. Maybe I'm a gay male. Maybe a straight woman. Maybe I'm a genderfluid pansexual. Why does it matter what I am? Would it make my opinion more valid? Less valid? Would it change the validity of my opinion at all? No.
If Traynor's relationship counts as u-haul lesbian, then so does Liara. Realistically every romance in the game counts as a 'u-haul' relationship. Thats the nature of how romances in games that dont take place over very long periods of time work.
Its becoming more clear that you're simply looking for the smallest reasons to discount Traynor as a romance because she doesnt fit YOUR stereotypes of what a lesbian should be.
Guest_john_sheparrd_*
thats why they should have announced all the romance options at once and not waited soo long
people (including me) are understandably pissed ok maybe not the straight females who somehow got two extra options
Bioware trying to fix th ME Series mistake of giving the maleShep more options.. and now the female Inquisitor has more options..
Nope not fixing but just replacing the problem
