I'm pretty cool with this list. In fact, I like how it may encourage me to play as:
-a female Inquisitor (I will play one if I enjoy the game enough, but this could make me create 2-3)
-an elven Inquisitor (elves are #3 on my list.. below humans and qunari)
Now my thoughts on options:
Cassandra - A given. Dunno if I'd go for it, but I'm fine with it being there.
Blackwall - Cool! Possibly may be deeper than we're giving it credit for so far.
Josephine - I'll have to see.
Iron Bull - Mine. Mhmmmm. m/m
Sera - Neat. I don't get the hate I read sometimes.
Dorian - A bit of a stereotype so far, but then again, I've seen Bioware present and then utterly subvert stereotypes. He's not my thing, but I'm open to, I dunno, watching his romance on Youtube or something, haha.
Cullen - He wasn't originally set to be a romance?
lol
Solas - A bit restrictive, no? I mean, I can get it, but considering its restriction, I sure hope that the script and characterization gives very good reasons for this.
Others:
Varric - A bit disappointed. Honestly, he's the only dwarf character I want to m/m romance. But I'm also not very surprised.
Vivienne - VERY surprised. I even think that Bioware might be making a mistake here by not having a m/f romance with her. *scratch my head* Like Solas, I hope there's a good reason.
Cole - Moving on..
Leliana - I'm honestly okay with this. Less complicated.
Remark on the last few pages I've read - Grow up. Yes, I do think that another (singular) romance for male Inquisitors (Vivienne?) would have been good, but you do have options, and honestly, I feel they are good ones. And I also think that whatever your orientation is, if you play your own gender you should have two or more options, and wow, you have two! You're good. Really. Save the outrage.
This does make me think that BW would be served well by somehow implementing a female romance (of sorts) in a DLC for male Inquisitors.
