Well can I just say that I (and many other people) are really grateful that you actually go to the trouble of adding these romances, it allows us to see depths of charaters the otherwise we would not be able to see.

Aye. While I wouldn't object to 3 LIs for my orientation, that's more in the vein of how I wouldn't obejct to money falling out of the sky and into my pocket. I am truly grateful that Bioware not only has f/f options, but even gives me the opportunity to have a choice.

-Only 2 options for straight males huh? Cassandra the only straight female huh? My feeling is that Sera should have been bisexual and Vivienne another straight female but okay, I understand why it is the way it is.

-The Iron Bull will look absolutely ridiculous romancing male elves or dwarfs.

Can I just thank BioWare for a second here? For everything they are giving us? Eight romances, all varied in sexuality, all with different personalities. Two of those were added because of extra development time?! More than one romance option no matter what type of Inquisitor you play as? 4 straight romance options, 2 bisexual, 2 homosexual, only 2 out of all those are race-gated... BioWare, thank you for all the awesome romance you're giving us. Thank you for the stories that players will experience with them, thank you for adding Solas and Cullen, thank you for even having romance in your games in the first place.

 

I'll say it again. BioWare, Dragon Age developers,

Neither of these characters were considered afterthoughts in terms of romance.  Though I suppose YMMV depending on whether or not you like the romance.

Going to echo the general sentiment of just wishing that y'all had revealed this information all at once. I get the desire to generate "buzz" but all it actually does is build up people's hopes just to leave them very disappointed.

It's a role playing game. I might not be gay but if it suits my character, I'll go with Dorian, if I play a zealot i'll go with Cassandra.

 

If Inquisition installed a virus on your PC that hacked into your webcam and forced you to play as your gender and sexuality, then I'd understand - but it's an RPG, does it really matter?

 

 

Also, surprised Blackwall is a LI considering he'll die like 2 years after the game most likely

I'm a little sad for the straight ladies. We get a bit left out I think. We get the two gated characters and the guy who's about to go on his calling and die ... unless there is a way to save Blackwall ... we're a little like FemShep all over again.

Well, straight males also got 2 options in Origins and 2, so nothing has changed for the worse on that part.   This time it just happened to be another group that got the most choice.
