Or Viv eventually harrumphing silently and walking over to her desk cause she's got actual sh*t to do while she waits for your eventual return (and if you don't she just walks away)
That'd be hilarious - I can imagine Cassandra doing something Physical, or threatening to at least. Like the Idle banter in Borderlands 2 when you pause or sit around for a while.
It is all about that sexy bad a** eye patch!
I kinda want him to take it off, I wonder if the eye is still there but all dead. There's something about that viasual effect that makes me more interested in him. I want to paint a bullseye on the eyepatch for funsies!
Varric would decorate you with various objects he finds laying around or flowers/weeds if you're outside. If you wait long enough, he comissions someone who's good at painting to sketch you with his "presents" on.
Then he writes the abridged version in his new best-seller.
As i said before this is indeed the DA game (and probably from all bioware games) with the least amount of romances options if you want to roleplay as a male PC and romance a female companion. No choices here this time, you only have cassandra.
Also we could have had 4 and 4 options between male and female romance options but we we got 5 to 3, not a fair distribution. Besides that we have the whole male and female distribution in the "companions department".
Well lets hope next time things will be better and more fair to everyone.
Dude, stop it already, we're moving on.
One game does not erase the entire past of the video game industry. Tons of games were and are still being made for straight male gamers. I'm not sure how one can not have seen or noticed this.
It's a couple of other games as well, but regardless, who exactly denied your point and what it's supposed to prove? I'm not speaking on behalf of straight male representation. Straight women have it worse than straight men, but undeniably lesbians are in worse situation than straight women.
Every main sexual orientation (straight/gay/bi) has 2 options (some a few more), and while some people are upset that they did not get their desired options, I am seeing quite a few people making a lot of assumptions about a game they have not played and acting like their opinion is fact. It does not help their case. If they are upset and want to complain about not getting character X, then fine. But if they are trying to convince others that they are getting shafted while spouting off inaccuracies, then they should not expected to be taken seriously.
Some specific theses of mine you have problem with? Then maybe discuss them instead of making such vague accusations intended to put me in bad light just because you don't like what I have to say.
This! I must say that for a moment I was a little bit fed up because romances were the most discussed thing about the game and I was thinking like: "Hey, has BioWare anything more to offer than virtual LI's?" Then gamescom came with all these sweet, juicy gameplays showing how Inquisition actually looks like. The final piece for me is the PC interface which actually looks perfect and intuitive, especially for someone who played previous games. Adding it up, I dont need any romances at all to get hyped for the game and look forward to it.I don't think that the people who are pissed want to buy DA:I because of the romances that wouldn't be right
they are a very nice feature but I'm hyped for the game because of the story and the open world aspect
Hell if I would play the game for romances I wouldn't buy it anymore after this unfair treatment
This might be the first Bioware game where I won't use the romance feature but I'm glad that the game has SOOO much more to offer

Only to have them both look away, and to have struck a pose as my Sassy Gay Elf. Maybe purposely look all fierce like Vivienne (If she's present)

I think he would narrate what he thinks was going through your mind. "And the inquisitor determined to not be drawn in to the alure of the handsome dwarf's magnificent chest hair tried to avert her gaze, but was too late. It lingered in her mind makeing her lost as though in a deep forest of manliness!"
Inquisitor Flirty joke with Cassandra, she grabs knife and stabs the chair he's sitting on right between he's leg's " Bull ****." she reply's.

Best thing was "Hard in Hightown" , that small portion that was narrated before I was like: "Oh Maker, Varric - Pls No.."

Very threatmantic of her. I like it!
Cole would just stare back at you. Full on eye contanct. No blinking. Forever.

If bioware released those novels they would make a killing!
I don't think they're gonna branch out into fanfic and smut though.
Fun as it may be. Too bad.
Solas might assume you're daydreaming, so he goes to sleep and fade-walks.
Josephine goes back to her documents.
Cullen would probably be weirded out. Just the Inquisitor all like: o.o
during their convo.

Cole is an awesome character, but I feel that introducing desire into a spirit would end poorly... and with Cole in a desire demon outfit.

Fair point, besides that is what fans are for!
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
You know what's funny? Despite female Elves having like, all of the options, I can't really see my planned Elf with any of them. I mean, Blackwall, Bull and Solas might all be super nice Dudes but they are also ... *Warning: This is my personal Opinion* ... either hideous to look at, or moderately attractive if you would subtract at least ten Years... and Cullen always seemed like a Douche to me... and I don't do homosexual Romances... well... scrap my Plans.

Two nipple covers, tassels, chains and thinly veiled leggings that barely cover his private bits?.. Don't give me that Image. He's going to be my protected one! Like Grunt!

Maybe even drop a quote about how the warden and hawke did the same thing.
If anything, we need *Dorian* in a Desire Demon outfit.
No skimpy Cole plz, my mind can't take it. Must protect demonBaby
Would it really have been that bad to make Solas bi ? or Blackwall?
Perhaps the writers didn't imagine them as bisexual and didn't want to change their vision for the characters just so the proportion of players who use romantic content would have somebody extra to bang.
I feel like, as writers, they have ownership over their characters and this should be respected. They shouldn't have to do anything just because fans really, really want them to do it.
I know you're disappointed, but you still get two characters who were designed from the start to be interested in male Inquisitors.
