By that mentality, straight females and homosexual gamers should have never ever complain that games don't cater to their preferences.
There's an important point to be made here, though - in the past, LGBT and women players complained that games didn't cater to their preferences because there really, truly were no romance options available.
I was part of the push to get same-sex romances into ME3, which attracted an incredible amount of abuse and vitriol - but it was worth doing, and necessary, because there were no options at all for gay players and Bioware seemed confused about whether femShep/Liara qualified as a lesbian relationship. ME3's straight romances for women were pretty much a horror show.
Everyone gets at least two options in Inquisition. Everyone. Nobody is talking from a position of having no content for them at all, so it makes the complaining seem quaint in comparison to those older situations.
