Everyone, I know the LI's are a very sensitive issue and we still need to process our feelings, and sometimes before we do that we go into offense mode and attack people. Specifically the BioWare Developers.

I'm opening this thread for the purpose of thanking the Developers for the Story and the Characters that they've created.

I was soooo mad when I heard Blackwall was for females only, like 6 v 4 ratio? What even?

I stated my complaint. *bombs away*

But now, after I realized people were openly attacking the Developers for their decision, I realized I needed to start a thread to let the Devs know we still love them. This game is gonna rock anyway.

Who knows if they'll read this, if anyone will. But here goes!

--------------------------------------------------------

BioWare:

Although I disagree with your Blackwall decision, I respect it, and no amount of complaining will change what's been done. (But I don't know Blackwall, I may end up loving him)

You've doubled the amount of romance content from DA:O and DA2. So far it looks like you've done an amazing job! Can't wait for the 18th of November!

Love Fizzie Panda

In general I feel like pretty much everything I would've wanted for Inquisition has been addressed in some capacity. I feel like the devs really care about making sure this game is amazing, and I can't WAIT to get my hands on it.

Spoiler tags for those who may not want to know all the romances, although you probably DO know by this point...

Spoiler

Just my two cents...

Edit:  Regardless, I am grateful to Bioware for making this game.  I do wish the romances had been more balanced, but I'd be eager to play it even if there weren't any romances at all.

This is a thread of construction not the other way around, so although off topic, to be clear, they have decided on literally everything in the game. So if an element was somehow out of their control... What would it be?

Yeah and sadly these types of positive threads never get anywhere near as big as the others!

We just need to try! We can do it!

Let's bring cookies, hugs, and happy pandas then!

I have only started to follow DA:I news this July, so I'm kind of a newcomer, but I have November 18th marked in all calendars, it's even written on my fridge  :D . Bioware, we are a hard lot to please, but you are doing great job! We are ready to help you! With cookies! And positive threads!

(especially positive threads, because my proficiency in baking is only matched by Garrus Vakarian's mastery in subtle flirting)

This thread is a great idea! Here's my own little message for the devs:

"People of Bioware, you are a fantastic team. I love your games and always did. From my perspective, you never disappoint, and that counts for all of you, whatever your job is (everyone's important in such a big team). Of course, everyone has their own preferences and it's hard to please us all, but keep in mind that for every (unnecessarily) hateful message you receive, more than a few hundred notes could be sent to you from fans who support you and love the fantastic, beautiful, immersive and thoroughly unforgettable games you make. We don't always plainly say so (even though we should), but we appreciate the blood and tears you put in your work and, trust me, the final product will show that you care about us, but also (and even more importantly) about the worlds and the characters you create. I'll play this game as much as I've played Origins and DAII. I'll romance each and everyone of the LIs (but I'll begin with Dorian, 'cause you know... DAT 'STACHE) 'cause they're ALL beautiful, special and interesting. I'll try every race and gender there is. I'll be able to play with my friends thanks to the multiplayer (which looks badass, by the way). And I'm sure I'll never regret it or grow tired of it, because that's just how awesome your games are: when you finish one, you just have to play it again. And again. And again...! Keep up the good work and know that the effort you put in your games doesn't go unnoticed.

I honestly can't wait to go back to Thedas once more on November 18th. I know you'll exceed my expectations, as always. Thank you for that.

A Fellow Canadian"

Love the 'share the love' threads.

Especially as I've done my share of expressing my concerns - but I'm still very positive for Inquisition.

So, yay Bioware.

Our perspectives have been skewed by the nature of the LI reveals- haphazard and disorganized as they were.

The only decision when it comes to Blackwall, that I am disappointed with is that his "type" or rather archetype always seems to be straight.  I wish that they would branch out in the future and include a male human knight in shining armor who is gay or bisexual.

That being said, the fact that there are 2 extras that have been given to the same group is what has me thrown off.

Yes, I am still excited for the game, and I am sure the characters, story, and combat will be enjoyable, but I will still voice my disappointment regarding the LI distribution and would hope that true equality in regards to both straight and gay romance options will happen in the future.

lol what is there even to "disagree" with? I don't even... I guess this isn't the place to discuss it.

I don't really see the need to reassure the poor devs themselves. My money will reassure their wallets eventually.

This thread is to simply assure the game developers that we appreciate them. Their profession is hard especially when fan feedback can be sometimes hurtful and very negative. We don't want any of the devs to quit their jobs or anything, so to balance out the negative feedback we wish to give them positive feedback!

Ill add my voice. Thank you for making some of my favorite games of all time. I for one am happy with everything i have seen for Inquisition and cant wait to play the game in November. Thank you for all of your hard work on this game. From a loyal fan from the United States.

I understand the disappointment some people (including me!) feel about not being able to romance a chosen LI with their chosen orientation or race, but there's no reason to pull out the pitchforks and torches. Everyone gets at least as many options as they've gotten in previous games ^_^ remember back in KotOR where there were only two LI and both were straight? Remember ME1 and two where there were no gay(in either) or lesbian(in ME2) options in sight? We are like made in the shade right now ^_^

I'm sooooooo happy that race choices are back and that we can be a Qunari <3 The game looks great from what we've seen, I'm super excited and hope we can play with the keep soon
