Only just started playing DAJ, but am getting the cannot connect to server on save issue, and I have unlocked the first achievement (glowing and says unlocked) but my status shows 0/3 achievements...

On my third playthrough the game started stuttering. Its really annoying and slowing down the pace alot. It began with me realising there was a save function :< I have to do my mage all again ;>

I'm having a trouble.



I cant finish the quest to investigate the smuggler camp.

I'm right next to it but nothing triggers.

Played this part before and it worked but now it dont and I dont wanna restart my mage.

Same here. (yes, I'm crazy enough to redo it with a mage anyway... )

On Sunday I completed the game with both Warrior and Mage plus started a Rogue.
Had all achivements but one, to complete the game with a Rogue.

Login Monday morning to play little before work, all my save files were gone but one (my first character which I played with on Thursday or Friday a lvl 4 Warrior) and  all achivements were gone as well...


I guess the save files on the server are totally gone for me?

Same problem with the smuggler-quest not working... played a Rogue.

Not want to start again before knowing if 'will' work then...



I did clear the whole area before going there, was that the mistake? :/

I have the same problem with the smuggler quest not working on my 3rd play trough to get the stupid helment....so annoying

I bitterly managed to drag my usually enthusiastic self through one of the most remarkably poorly planned flash games I've ever had the bad fortune of playing for three in game items for DA:O only to not have even unlocked any after completing all the quests and achievements.

Please Bioware, just remove the requirements for the items completely and give them to everybody who purchase the game. DA:J is by far one of the worst marketing failures ever. If anything it provides people (who are curious about what DA:O is without having checked the forums extensively) with the misinterpreted vision that DA:O is nothing more than a poorly put-together rushed game.

Hi!  I experienced the same problem.  I just saved, restarted my browser and loaded up my save, went back to the camp, and it worked !

I have the same smugglers quest problem

Version 1.32 should fix the smugglers quest issue. Save your game and refresh the browser. Thanks for the patience.

Under Achievements
all 5 are blue and filled in

under DA:O
I can highlight all three items and they say UNLOCKED!!!

So my question is... What did I miss to only have 63% I did the mushroom quest
and Did I or did I not unlock the DAO items?

Check again. It looks like this was fixed in 1.32 because I noticed that it's now showing 3/3 unlocks.

Just checked my DA:J account. It appears I can now save!



Also, my achievements page correctly shows everything unlocked now!



I don't mean to undermine others' complaints, but I want to be clear that I am very thankful for the support you've put into the first chapter of DA:J beta.

edit - after I posted this I found several other comments with the same issue.  Hopefully this can be resolved without playing through again especially since I don't know which play-through I am missing.

Anyone else find the battle with the ogre and two alphas really really really hard? I've seriously tried 5 times. Even if I do beat it, it would have been through sheer luck which is still frustrating.

Yes. I had exactly the same thing. I just replayed my mage (the one that I had done before updates, i.e. your rogue) and Mighty Magic showed  up. I can't promise it will work, but it worked for me.
