Is anyone jumping to a ps4/xbox one for this game from a ps3/xbox 360?  I'm considering it and my main concern is if I start on my current system and then upgrade, my manifest won't carry over and I'll have to start from scratch.

Thought about it, but I don't think it's gonna happen. My plan was to hold out for xbox one until a game I want (ME4?) is no longer released for 360.

I am upgrading to xbox one.  I had decided to do that before mp was announced.  I have prerecord DAI for XBone and will buy an XBone  sometime later this fall.

Aw...no running into Beerfish in DAMP? :(
I might have to upgrade just for that reason.

I was going to upgrade to XB1 around holidays because of DA:I. However after they announced MP, my ME3 group decided to all get DA:I. Only one of them has XB1 and the other 2 will be sticking with 360 for now, so I am sticking with 360 as well.

I went to PS4 earlier this year. Originally I upgraded for ESO on Console...but that was a bust.

If I find that the pool of mp players is smaller than I hoped I could end up buying a 360 version as well, who knows.  (I do need a new controller as my 360 one is totally on its last legs.)

I'm not sure what I'll do.  DA:I is the first game that I'm particularly interested in for the ps4.  I'm super stingy with money, so dropping the cash on a new console is really tough for me, but maybe I just need to come to terms with it since I want to upgrade at some point anyhow.  Plus, I'd like to be in on the MP from the start.  I only really got into ME3 MP when support was getting close to ending.

Chances are, due to finances I will be stuck on the 360, which means might be limited in who can play with me but i'll deal with. When I get the chance, or money, I will go for the PS4.

This thread actually brings up an interesting point. We all know that there is no cross-platform MP, but will there be cross-generation console MP (like PS3 playing with PS4 people)?.

I already upgraded to a PS4

DO IT!

and I'm pretty sure there will be no cross-gen MP coldflame

I'm already preordered DA:I through PS Store on my PS3.  I'm probably not going to get a PS4 for a while since money's tight, so I might as well get DA:I for my PS3 so I can play it on day one.  As far as I know, none of my PSN friends are upgrading to PS4, or, at least, they aren't getting rid of their PS3 if they're getting a PS4.  Either way, I'll probably have people to play with, even if I have to PUG.

As for the story, all I'm really going to miss out on are random NPCs that probably have nothing to do with anything quest-related (either main plot or side-quests) so I'm not worried.  Graphics?  Meh, idc about graphics as long as the story, characters, and combat are good.

I've already upgraded to an xbox one, I have both XBone and Ps4, XB is my primary, I suggest, find out what your friends are doing. Their are plenty of players for the new consoles though, So don't be afraid to upgrade, in fact I suggest it, the game was built for the new systems, it will run & look better on them, and even if you don't have many friends on the upgrade console, well make some new ones, everytime I play a new game, I make new friends that I hang out with playing that game.

This has piqued my interest and made me think harder about upgrading. I decided to create a poll to maybe get an idea what people are planning. starrks, if you're so inclined, you could add this link to your OP:

I hace a pc and ps3, but in my country for almost the same price of a ps4, you upgrade the computer that performs much better and is used for more activities.

I dont know the prices between consoles and pc there, but here are a joke...here is no longer profitable to pay for a game console.

I will be playing it on xbox1, I might get it for 360 as well, but most of my friends that play DA might make the jump to xbox1 as well. Negating me getting it for the 360.

If the PS4 had a large library of games that I wanted to play i'd have one already. DAI and Metal Gear Solid 5 are both coming out for the PS3 as well so it seems as if I won't be getting a new console any time soon.

I made the jump to XBone, not just for this, but also for Destiny, ACIV, and the Master Chief Collection, also my regular 360 is basically out of commission after how long I've had it

Yes, I upgraded from PS3 to PS4 specifically for DAI.

I knew I'd upgrade eventually, but this game was the impetus for that.

I am the owner of an Xbox 360S and a Day One Xbox One.

I'll be picking up Dragon Age:Inquisition for the Xbox One.

We need to add each other for some MP titles, hahaha. You just named a game I already own(ACIV), FIVE I will own(MCC, Destiny) for the One, and then there's Inquisition.

GT-RainbowDashTSR, just lemme know its you hahaha

Nah. Unless they announce it, its not happening. And that would require some work.

The more I think about it, the more I lean towards upgrading  because of this game.  I'm the same about knowing that I'd eventually upgrade.  I'm just going to do it sooner rather than later.

Still debating whether I should go XB1 or PS4. In general prefer the XB1 but the price point and the current games are more attractive on the PS4.
