Still debating whether I should go XB1 or PS4. In general prefer the XB1 but the price point and the current games are more attractive on the PS4.
You can get either console for $399 USD and its approximate international comparisons so long as you sacrifice the X1's Kinect, which judging by the past several months doesn't look like it's going to be getting much more support, anyway. This holiday season there's only one exclusive on either system I want -- Halo -- and even then it's a calculated risk as I've only played the first game. But since I knew I wanted Inquisition on a current-gen platform, that was effectively enough, and I'll just cross my fingers I like Halo 2-4 enough to look forward to 5. (And I'll also enjoy the timed exclusivity of the first major DLC, I guess, at least as much as I could be said to "enjoy" anything so silly.)
In the future, the PS4 is the system I'll likely dabble in more, what with Uncharted 4 and a likely-Sony-superior MGSV en route.
I preorded DAI Deluxe for both ps3 and ps4 myself. I'm planning to buy the Ps4 white slim this october so........ I actually don't knwo if the multiplayer match canbe transfered since I'll use the same account on both ps3 and ps4.

I am upgrading to xbox one. I had decided to do that before mp was announced. I have prerecord DAI for XBone and will buy an XBone sometime later this fall.
This is exactly what I'm doing as well. Pre-ordered DA: I and ESO for XBone and will pick up the console sometime in early November, probably.

I would jump from PS3 to PS4, if I had the money... nah, screw it, once I get a PS4 (whenever that may be), I'll buy the Deluxe PS4 version again.
I've been on the 360 for years, but I decided to switch to PS4 because it was the more powerful of the new systems, and because my brother bought one and I play most games with him. Once the latest Gears of War game comes out I'll have an Xbox One too. But for DA:I I'll be on PS4.
And maybe I'll finally make some online friends! Since Destiny makes it pretty much impossible and I don't have any to start with so...yeah.
My friends pre-ordered DA:I for PS4 for me for my birthday.
Now I just need to save up to get the PS4. I'd still rather have the game, and not be able to play it, than buy an old gen game. I'm done with old gen (360). Freakin' xbox...so done.
I'll play DAI on 360. Consoles are getting too expensive to justify. For $400 you can buy a new video card and RAM for your PC, and do a lot more with it.
When ME4 comes around I'll play it on PC. No XBone for me. Most of the good games end up with PC versions anyway.

Given how much the PS3 struggled with some games (Collectors on Gold anyone...), I'm hoping the spec enhancements will provide a smoother experience.
Also the share features, cross-game chat and ability to Twitch awful PUGs has to be worth the upgrade.
