I immensely enjoyed playing ME3 MP with my friends and I'm looking forward to playing DAMP but it would be nice to see if Bioware ironed out some annoying issues of the ME3 multiplayer.

1. Do we have dedicated servers or it's again a P2P system of ME3 MP with all it's dependence on host's internet bandwidth?

2. Do we have a proper lobby system with a list of available servers, where you can choose exact map/enemy/difficulty and see number of players instead of directly throwing you in some random lobby or even worse into an ongoing game?

3. Is there a text chat? I mean seriously, no text chat on PC in ME3 MP was a travesty.

4. What about cheating? ME3 MP was plagued by the "missile glitch" on Xbox and editing the game files on PC and it was never solved.

5. Will we see different game modes or it will be only a horde mode again?

1. Pretty sure Derek French said no servers and that it was like ME3 host depedant.

2. No word on this at all, I also am looking forward to seeing the lobby options.  Re ongoing games, I don't mind that in ME3.

3. No word on this.

4. I would imagine that they will not find out about cheats until they happen and then they will try and correct them.  I think they gave up on the missile glitch thing after several unsuccessful attempts because support was ending.

5. What examples can you give me of different game modes?  The games will be slightly different as you will have to go through 5 different areas randomly put together.  They will have objectives like ME3 but not real details on this.  Still will be a lot of just wiping out baddies in each area though.

I'll be happy if a developer does come and answer some of these directly.

I was hoping for dedicated servers at least for PC, but knowing EA, a P2P system was always a possibility.

Getting thrown into a platinum game against Geth for example with a weak/unprepared character wasn't a pleasant experience. In most MP games you choose when to respawn and you can do it in a safe place.

Well I never set my lobby for random playing level.  The getting tossed into levels of diff you didn't want only happened for a short time no?

I can't wait to see the lobby screen. Hopefully we get a few more search options, and hopefully the default difficulty is not set to random.

1. It's peer to peer.

2. You can specify what difficulty level you want when you select quick match, or you can create your own lobby. There is no option to scroll through available lobbies to find a type you like.

3. No text chat in the PAX build.

4. TBD

5. It isn't horde mode. MP is a dungeon crawl through 5 interconnected zones with optional side objectives for bonus rewards.
