The Skyhold looks amazing, but the thing I found most interesting is the part where it says you originally gather in Haven. I thought it would have been wiped out after the blast.

This has a very Suikoden feel to it. If you played those games. Your castle is always in ruins. Then as you collect the 108 Stars(Characters). The castle start to grow. Memo to Sony RELEASE SUIKODEN 2 and SUIKODEN 3 on PSN already.

Hopefully the possible executions can be carried out by the Inquisitor themselves, not out of any real desire to "omg plz let me behead people", but more out of the perspective of being ready to swing the sword yourself and taking that responsibility if condemning someone to die rather than just ordering someone else to do it for you.

I hope so too, though my desire is actually based on "OMG PLZ LET ME BEHEAD PEOPLE."

Fantastic. I love that they gave little examples, specific details about things we can find in Inquisition:
-Haven will be our first base.
-Do you miss home, Dalish Inquisitor? Here, put some Dalish woodcarving in your castle.
-Again, a choice between Mages and Templars.
-Leliana in the rookery, Sera at the bar and Dorian enjoys leather.
-Throw a dead goat at the castle, become ambassador.
-A master of spies...or a court jester. What does the Inquisitor need the most?
-You can sentence a mage to Tranquility.
Customization of the base and judgements are some of the features I'm looking forward to the most in DA:I. And it's good the article reminded us of Awakening. Vigil's Keep was very nice.

I hope companions leave there areas and venture round some times as well!
Because... SKYHOLD HAS A BAR!
I want to see Iron Bull and Blackwall at the bar some times haha. With the option to join them of course!
Hell I want a party scene with all the companions and advisors getting wasted.
I'm really hopeful for this as well.
However, it might be potentially annoying because it makes trying to find a specific NPC you want/need to speak to difficult unless they are marked on the map.

I think they'd mark their locations on the map.

Wow... great article! So far I'm liking everything I'm hearing about Skyhold and can't wait to experience it first hand. Some of the alliances and judgements mentioned sound like they will be incredibly engaging. And multi-stage war table missions? With Inquisitor input from time to time? Whew... It seems like Bioware has gone all out with this...
But on the bad side.... I'm looking forward to the game even more now! xD
