That's the Inquisition symbol if I'm not mistaken: the Seeker eye with the sword going through it.
Plus Cassandra isn't Orlesian (painting of Celene) and when I think "lute" I tend to think of a bard and not Cass. 
It looks like the option with dragons (might not be dragons the pic is pretty dark) doesn't have a throne, Depending on the other details I might choose that one for my dalish.

My character is soooo going to walk around there in her underwear at some point... a place is not truly yours til you can feel comfortable walking it in your undergarments.

I agree, I didn't read the story, just skimmed it and skipped over parts that might actually relate to what happens or how we get it.
Since we supposedly have decorations unique to our character's background, I wonder what Qunari characters will have. Vashoth don't really have much culture, do they...
This has a very Suikoden feel to it. If you played those games. Your castle is always in ruins. Then as you collect the 108 Stars(Characters). The castle start to grow. Memo to Sony RELEASE SUIKODEN 2 and SUIKODEN 3 on PSN already.

Wouldn't it be amazing if bioware also added a kitchen with cooking contest and bath houses where weird things happen?
but yes anyway, this excites me greatly and because of all the suikoden feels i get from this. i have to say im looking forward to skyhold the most out of everything i have heard so far. XD
Hah, there should be an achievement to talk to all of your companions and advisors at Skyhold while wearing nothing but your undergarments
