I just don't like being forced to side with one extreme or the other.  There should always be a screw you both, now listen to me option...

and why should they listen too  you, they can screw you right back  that be funny if  that happens in game.

Scared people don't submit.

Scared people destroy the source of the fear.

Or they're destroyed.

Still exists doesn't it? Even though practically every nation in Thedas opposes it it still exists.

If you call ignoring it "resisting" it sure.

Its the meat shield against the Qunari.

If they wanted things to be normal they should have never let Meredith get to the point she got and held a meeting to vote that would allow Cullen take over as leadership. If you sit on your ass and do nothing to stop an injustice or prevent chaos that will bring a city to its knees than you're just as gulity in my book. Calling for the Rite based solely on the actions of Anders an apostate who had nothing to do with the circle of Kirkwall was the stupidest thing I saw in the DA2 game.

The whole world is guilty by that logic.

Besides, Meredith wasn't that bad most of the game. She loses it only at the ending and let's not forget the fact the Templars have had to deal with constant attacks and deaths caused by blood mages and Abominations coming from the Circle. I don't support Meredith's final order but we can afford to be detached from the situation.
It's easy to see tensions coming to a boiling point if you're a native of Kirkwall who's had to deal with this for decades.

And as Hawke said to Varric: "One kick and i could get you over a moderately high wall!"

Who cares what a dwarf thinks.

Funny. He doesn't seem blinded by rage when he's making out with my mage Garrett Hawke

You know... even in friendship all this sh*t looks ridiculous, so I'll leave it to the devs conscience or better say a lack of thereof. Because how. the. f. is that even possible. It's unhealthy.

Makes perfect sense. It was a healing relationship between the two. It was very well written by Gaider.

WAT. It makes no sense. "Healing" relationship, my *ss. I want to unsee this.

I'd rather that than be forced to give either side any amount of legitimacy.  I'd rather a three way war between my Inquisition and the two of them and possibly lose and die than let either side be given legitimacy.

Your logic here is ridiculous.

The Qunari besieged and captured Tevinter it self, to the capital.

It two centuries of Thedas throwing armies at the Qunari for them to be pushed into the sea, it took campaign after campaign, exalted march after exalted march, and even then it took the "normal" people of the Imperium to liberate it, was the massive slave revolts that allowed the Imperium to counterattack, so when you factor in it was the various Kingdoms of Thedas that pushed the Qunari back, you thinking a collapsing magocracy is what is holding the Qunari back is a joke.

Unhealthy? I was friends with Fenris as a mage, and then I began the romance.

Then why haven't they taken it yet? I find it a little strange, Plus the Tevinter Imperium was the only country that wasn't stupid enough to sign the peace treaty.

Must've been a self-hating mage then, I never managed to get him to friendship.

Fair enough, We'll just have to agree to disagree then.

Can I just kill both sides? I honestly just want to do it once because they both are so annoying.
Seriously though, I'd probably just want to make the Circle more of school and less of a prison. The Templars can vacation in the deep roads for all I care.

And he naggs at every mage, every single one. Even Bethany. And here's a PC! Everyone loves him, even Fenris. Even when it's a rivalmance! It's irrational, illogical and it's a fanservice at best for someone who was abused and raped by mages to bed a mage.

I just can't even. No, I personally can't do something so low.

Must've been a self-hating mage then, I never managed to get him to friendship.

Also, that. I mean, how on earth someone can be pro-mage and do him?

Friends I can imagine. Lovers? That's waaay too much.

Hardly. Your mage must have been just a jerk in general then.

More someone who didn't like the notion that he was evil merely for existing.

You know what? Take it up with the writers if it's such a damn issue. I greatly enjoyed Fenris's romance with a mage and I will stand by it.

Although Fenris does support blackmailing the templar about his daughter...even to me that's a little cold blooded.
