Probably Cullen, it would be too painful to have him in the group for me.
Good thing he's an advisor and not a party member then.

Not that I know of yet. Could be that someone turns out to be the Anders of the group though, and I'll blacklist them.
Seems to me though that I'm going to get a lot of replayability out of DAI. At least I'm hoping. Making different Inquistiors, fooling around with different dialogue and friendships.
Probably Vivienne and Cole, I already dislike them greatly.
Probably Cole and Viviene are the most likely ones to be left out for me though I doubt I will keep everyone out of the party permenantly. I will probably use everyone at least once. And different A teams for different Inquisitors but yeah, Cole and Viv.

Why da hate? Its a waste of game content to just exclude them before trying em out...
How is it people can have such strong reactions to strangers - good or ill - without really knowing anything about them?
I do wonder how people can have such strong reactions to characters - good or bad - without really knowing them. We all do it! What gives?
judging a book by its covers? yeh totally agree we know very little at this point and yet there are already ppl who are deciding who they are going to kick off their team/romance months before release...who knows maybe that hot stud or babe you planned on is actually unbearably annoying or that early "favorite" companion is a liability in combat? Or even maybe...characters "you'll intentionally keep out of the party" turns out to be alright! like when i was playing Orgins I thought i would hate leliana and would just dump her in camp but she grew on me and her lockpicking skills turned out to be very useful and she became one of my favorite companions...dont hate, appreciate
Is there any companion that you'll intentionally try to keep out of your party and why?
It's hard to say right now while I don't have too much info about companions and how usefull they will be in a fight. But for now I think that in my team there will be no place for Cole. I bought Asunder a few days ago and while there are persons I like ( Evangeline), for sure I dislike Cole. Varric was in DA2 and I never develop any " bound" with him, so he will be not in my team too. I think that probably there will be not place for any human character, while I will play Dalish Elf, so probably in my team will be Solas, Sera, Iron Bull. Im a player who dislike any changes in developed group, so if only it will be possible, those three will remain with my PC to the end.

Hey I know this is just my gut reaction and my reading of the material as it stands now. And given that we know a lot about Cole from Asunder it is easy for me to say that he may not be in my party...much. As I said, if I do manage to do multiple playthroughs especially, I doubt I will exclude anyone completly, but they seem to be on the bottom of the pile. Which is kind of sad since I am kind of curious about Cole and how he has changed from Asunder and solving the mystery of what he is once and for all. But, for roleplaying purposes...which is the main consideration for me and the answer to the question, I just doubt many of my Inquisitors will get along well with either Cole or Viv.
All of this said, I know. I thought my first Rogue Hawke in DA 2 would get along great with Isabella and dislike Fenris, and Fenris ended up being a fixture of the party and Isabella...I mostly left in the hanged man. So, all of this is subject to change.
