So if I manage to get "promoted" in multilayer I get more war assets as well as GR?

I put it in "" because I have no idea what it means I presume its similar to ranking up in COD for example?

Okay, in Mass Effect, there are six classes: Adept, Soldier, Sentinel, Engineer, Vanguard, and Infiltrator. Within each class lies different characters to choose from. By leveling up one character, you level up the entire class as a whole. Each classes' maximum level is 20. When you reach level 20, you may choose to promote a class. Once promoted, the class, for example, Sentinel, will be demoted back to Level 1 again. On first promotion, you will gain the Multiplayer asset: N7 Spec Ops. This asset will increase with each promotion. This is the only asset you will get from Multiplayer, all other assets must be obtained through Single Player and Single Player DLCs.

I have never played any mass effect game before this one, i had no interest in the series before Dead Space 3 so I only got ME3 (probably a mistake to not played the previous ones by the looks of things) does it make much of an impact?

and what is "Impostershep"?

Imposter Shep is what he calls canon Shepard.

When you talk with him on Mars, Thessia, Chronos and on the Citadel, always take the left dialogue option(investigate) which opens up more dialogue. If your playing as a paragon always choose the upper left dialogue(blue). Doing that will have him kill himself. If playing as a renegade, choose the bottom left dialogue,(red) but instead of him killing himself, you, the player, will get an renegade interrupt to shoot him.

 OK thanks!

Also i just joint the Fan club, yeah!

Last one - pc or console? If pc get modding the buggery out of it (especially better textures, the same applies to previous two games).

Up until the last 20 minutes of ME3 you'd think it makes a massive impact. Then you realize that no, no impact at all......

Yes. Look in her group under the topic "discuss Samantha". She has a very nice hair mod along with a few other mods that have been posted.

From memory, the Sam long-hair mod goes in through ME3 Explorer.

Here you go, d/l and instructions can be found in the LINK

If you're modding, just remember to save a copy of your BIOGame folder before you start doing anything, then if anything goes wrong it saves a huge amount of time.

Well thanks for clearing that one up but in doing so you opened another, what is the point in Paragon and Renegade points if they don't do anything? or do they do something that I don't know about?

This may have already been answered, but Renegade and Paragon point, while not doing anything for the endings, allow you extra dialogue options at various points throughout the game and trilogy.  Usually, these points allow you to take a third, usually preferential, option in conversations.  I don't remember many in ME3 off the top of my head (Rannoch peace springs to mind but that is only available if you played ME2, and in a certain way), but they are there.

Recruiting Dr Michel to the Normandy instead of Chakwas takes either the paragon or renegade dialogue being opened up when you speak to her. Let's just say that she needs some gentle persuasion to come aboard....

The one time I had her on the ship, I had to build up my renegade points to convince her come on the ship. It happened just before I cured/sabotaged the genophage.

I gibbed her. Rigged either my paragon or renegade points when I was first on the Citadel and got her to come aboard straight away.

Achieved nothing though as she then proceeded to sit in the crew quarters until after Tuchanka......

Since you're doing an ME3 default playthrough, you don't need multiplayer or any dlc. Just need the extended cut. Gather as many war assets as possible and have TIM either kill himself or you kill him via renegade interrupt "saving" Anderson. I did this back in Oct 5 2012 on my only pc playthrough and my ems was at 2930 and still got the best ending. Look at the spoiler I put in my earlier post and you will know why I got the best ending.

I don't think the info in that spoiler is on the wiki. Is it verifiable? If so, someone should correct the wiki.

Note that P/R does change one of the endings. However, IIRC this is governed by a final choice rather than your point total.

Yes. It happened to me on the playthrough that I did on the pc and I did it couple of times on my ps3. I posted that on the I discovered thread about a month ago.  Anderson gives 200 war assets if "saved" and if TIM kills Anderson, the player loses 100 assets, which I've done a couple of times on my ps3.

As far as what the wiki says, I don't know. If someone wanted to change it they can.

I find this one works a lot more. The only dialogue option that matters.

I'll submit the change if I can replicate it. How did you verify the WA totals?
