Yes. Kasumi, Zaeed and Javik.

I have a ps3 and when I purchased ME2 gave me all dlc except Arrival and I had to purchase From Ashes for ME3

I also got the trilogy edition and from what I understand it has all dlc except Arrival and ME3 dlc's.

So even though I already have ME3  I should probably get the trilogy edition?

Since you only have ME3 right now, I would look at how much for a trilogy edition would cost and what dlc comes with it vs how much it costs to purchase everything separately.

If it was me, I would purchase the trilogy edition saving x number of funds

Bear in mind that buying the trilogy edition won't get you any of the ME3 DLC.

Also, the PC version only gets you the Zaeed DLC for ME2, and whilst you get BDtS and Pinnacle Station for ME1, BDtS is free anyway, and Pinnacle Station is rubbish.

If you can get ME1 and ME2 cheap then you're as well doing that, and then cherrypicking the DLC when you can. The bulk of the cost you'll now face is for ME3 DLC.

On PS3, I would probably recommend the other way, and get the trilogy edition, just for the fact that you get the vast majority of the ME2 DLC included, and BDtS.

This is what the Origin store says

"PLEASE NOTE: Mass effect Trilogy includes Mass effect Principle Station and Bring down the sky."

It costs £40 and so as it only comes with 2 DLC I think it would be cheaper to get the games and the DLC separately, could be wrong.

^^ You can get used copies of ME1 and ME2 through Amazon marketplace for less than £2 each.

Note - re the Origin message - you'll also get Zaeed and the Normandy Crash Site - they've always been free AFAIK - probably why Origin doesn't list them.

Not sure if I missed the answer, Didn't ask the question or the question didn't get answered, But Can i copy the face code that I've got on ME3 and use it in ME1?

Eh. It's a tricky one. ME3 changed how it did faces which means they are not directly compatabile (there is a tool someone developed to correct the ME2 face import).

Your best bet is to start a new shep from ME1 and then carry it onwards.

This is a thread about the trilogy announcement. The first post covers what is included for the pc and other platforms. If interested.

Even if I didn't have everything, I would still get the trliogy edition. As I said, I play on a ps3 and not the pc.

Ok thanks, I just like the one I created in ME3 so is the Face creator in ME1 much worse?

Small question about the trilogy,

It says that

"Yes, the Mass Effect Trilogy is compatible with other versions of Mass Effect.  This means you can use saves from across the original Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 titles with the Trilogy.  Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is also compatible across different versions."

My friend has ME1 on the Xbox, does this mean i can borough His play that and then copy the save over somehow and continue on in ME2?

Depends what you mean by worse; you can create decent faces still but obviously it is a 7 year old game. All my Sheps are face imports form ME1, so.. it's not that bad at all.

There is a tool here (I'm on mobile so sorry if the link doesn't work): old.masseffect2faces.com/index.php?show=tutorials&tutorial=me2tome1
It says ME2 to ME1 but I used it with ME3 code and it works fine. Only the hair slider seems one digit off, it shows one number less than needed.

Zaeed introduces a new character in ME2, who dependent on your nature, be a lot of fun. He also pulls through into ME3. It's free DLC that I think everyone gets anyway.

The Normandy Crash Site one, again, free to everyone AFAIK, it's a quick 10 minute thing where you wander around a crash site, gathering dog tags and instigating some flashbacks. It's a nice touch, but absolutely not important.

Ok thanks again! So I can't save both the Geth and the Quarians until I have played ME2.

And I know the Control the Reapers is the paragon choice, but is it better than doing the destroy ending if you have 3100+ EMS?

There is no paragon choice in the end. In the end, someone always suffers.

1) Control: People live under the heel of the Reapers.

2) Synthesis: People have their DNA changed whether they want to have it changed or not.

3) Destroy: All synthetics die.

4) Refuse: Everyone dies.
