If you don't play the DLC, why get them? (probably missing something that it adds that I don't know about)

I should've added this to my other post.

One of the reasons I don't play all dlc's in a playthrough is to see what effect it has on the next game, if any. For example the Bring down the sky dlc in ME1, you get different dialogue if you play the dlc vs not playing it. Another example is the From Ashes dlc. Do a playthrough having completed that dlc and then do another playthrough not completing the dlc. The biggest difference outside of not having Javik as a squadmate, is the Thessia mission is different in terms of dialogue and content.

There are many different playthroughs that can be done. If interested, click on the link in my signature for a very different playthrough that can be done in the trilogy.

Checkout this thread of things folks have discovered in the trilogy.

Since you romance Samantha, she gets an added scene if a certain squadmate is killed in ME2

^^ If you're playing on PC (or 360 for that matter) - you can temp-kill (with the Gibbed save game editor) that Squadmate in ME3 to get that scene, and then just change it back again afterwards so that they're alive again afterwards. That's what I normally do.

The joys of gibbed, where would we be without it? There are some very talented people out there who do a hell of a lot to improve on what we are given.

And would someone like to share what "gibbed" is? and where to get it?

Also I was just looking into the romances in ME1 and I want to save Ash at the end so Kaiden will die and so that means the only person that I can romance with is liara (as I'm playing femshep), does this mean that when I get ME1 on the Pc and I romance Liara does that romance continue onto Me2&3?

Gibbed is a save editor which allows you to edit your save game in a lot of ways, including making femshep romance Jack, give resources / credits, change how you look etc.

Regards ME1, if you don't romance the wooden door then you are stuck with Liara or nothing as Femshep. The romance can continue into ME2 if you wish, but to make the most of a Liara romance you need LotSB (but it is absolutely brilliant as a Liara romance in my opinion, it's almost her romance DLC).

^^ Even that great screencap doesn't do that scene justice.

It's a great DLC anyway, but it's even better as part of a Liara romance.

Jack gets a lot of awkward shots but everybody's way too confused by the tattoos to notice what's going on.

Thats the one thing I liked about Jack, her tattoo's. Mostly because I have tattoo's on my arms and legs. Its too bad Bioware didn't add dialogue asking about her tattoos. They make for good conversation

The ME wiki says that if you romance with someone, that it will continue onto the next game. Is this wrong? If I do choose Liara (in ME1) will I not be able to Romance with Traynor In ME3?

^^ You have the opportunity to start up new relationships in the new games, even if you romanced someone in the previous.

You have to pretty much confirm the romance every time. It gets ridiculous by the time ME3 rolls around with Liara though..

Are you refering to the Citadel dlc? Don't you have to romance her to get the dialogue?

Oh so the wiki is wrong then? If I choose Liara in ME1, can I then choose Kelly in ME2 and Traynor in ME3?

No I've never romanced her - it's one of dialogue choices when she's on the ship. She says something like "aren't you going to ask about the tatoos? Everyone else does" and then she will tell you about them.
This is as femshep too.

Yes, you can. However, you might not want to. Planning the first playthrough of any Mass Effect game is a futile process IMO :)

For the ultimate 'Slapper' play through, using Gibbed you can pretty much romance all of them at the same time...... :D

Fair enough, how do I get gibbed? where is the download?

Just so you know I have no intention of actually doing what i said earlier but I do want to choose Traynor in ME3 and I was just questioning the others and the circumstances that  I presented because I was confused with what the wiki said.
