I'm pretty sure there is you know.

There is in ME2, I don't know about any in 3.

Fair enough, how do I get gibbed? where is the download?

Just so you know I have no intention of actually doing what i said earlier but I do want to choose Traynor in ME3 and I was just questioning the others and the circumstances that  I presented because I was confused with what the wiki said.

Here for ME3:

Thats the one thing I liked about Jack, her tattoo's. Mostly because I have tattoo's on my arms and legs. Its too bad Bioware didn't add dialogue asking about her tattoos. They make for good conversation

There's the short talk about tattoos in ME2. The dialogue goes something like:

Jack: "Some are for good kills, some are for 'hey, why the f*ck not', and some are none of your business."

It's part of her normal dialogue options if you talk to her enough.

I don't remember anything else about the tattoos beyond this and the Citadel DLC stuff.

I remember her talking about them, it just wasn't anything worth remembering about especially after a few seconds that was the end of it. I would've like to hear more detail about them instead of a few words.

Since you romance Samantha, she gets an added scene if a certain squadmate is killed in ME2

Spoiler

After what mission does this scene happen?

Wait i just looked at the Gibbed save options for ME3, does it allow you to alter the past games even though you haven't played them?

When you cure/sabotage the genophage. After speaking with Hackett, femshep will talk with Victus and when both are done, Traynor wil approach femshep and start talking to her.

To an extent, but not everything. Nothing can beat playing them though.

Ok thanks, my second play through (my current one) i've only just surpassed it so i might go back and edit the save so that garrus is dead so i can see this, thanks

Yeah i gathered that but see as i don't own the others yet, this is the next best thing with my lack of money to buy the previous games. Thanks

I find with Gibbed that you can tinker with an awful lot from the previous games, however you're losing out on the context. Ie. You can gib it so that Kirrahe survives Virmire for example, but if you've not played ME1 then you've no idea who he is anyway, so whether it's Kirrahe in ME3, or some nameless Salarian in his place, makes little difference.

Whilst you can tinker with the technical aspects as much as you like with Gibbed, you're losing out on the heart and soul of the series.

Yeah figured as much, but until I get the other games this is the best I've got.

But is it not worth just waiting to see what happens rather than spoilering it all in one go?

Maybe, I've just read so much and see so many videos that depend on things from the previous game that i want to see for my self, I might just wait and buy the others and their DLC but IDK, the temptation might get the better of me.

You could always get the Genesis 2 comic for $3.99 until you have enough funds for ME1/ME2 and dlc's

Here's a video of the Genesis 2 comic showing what you can import into ME3

Surely the other games are cheap enough by now? The DLC on the other hand...

Yeah i thought that was a good choice, I got 400 bioware points and then bought it, waited a while and started a new character and there was no option to start genesis. what happened? Has it just not downloaded?

Never mind I got it working

Oh so the wiki is wrong then? If I choose Liara in ME1, can I then choose Kelly in ME2 and Traynor in ME3?

No it's not wrong. Carry over doesn't mean that you can't break up with them.

You can even break up with them in the same game.

Here's the link I used for Gibbed for ME2:

http://www.masseffec...s.com/tools.php

It's really nice, but make sure you double check any flags you set.  I've used this to try a different of couple of world states, without the guilt.  Such as the council decision, various dialogues like what Mike and von mentioned (where you have to kill certain characters/let them die,) losing Feros or other such missions.

One night I got bored, set the flag from Samara to Mornith, and went for the non-standard Game Over.  Because I could.  I didn't save, laughed at Shep and set the flags back to where they were.

Fair warning about Gibbed for ME2: The hair/eye color is in an odd form of decimals.  I'm not sure the translation, but the closest I could find was hex.  Even that wasn't quite right; just tweak with the numbers until you get something you like.  For instance, for my femshep's blue eyes, I went with:

Red: 0.5174014,

Green 0.4478709,

Blue 1 (no decimals)

It took me some time and reloading of my save to get it just right.  I'd highly recommend doing some research once you're ready to use the program, since it can be a little tricky if you want to do things like modify weapons and armor types, as well as customize hair and eye color.  It does have a really easy head morphing system though.

You'll probably be happy to hear that the Gibbed for ME3 is much more user friendly, allowing for color wheels and sliders for hair/eye/skin color rather than the decimal system.  You're still going to want to research weapon and armor codes, but the interface isn't quite as cluttered.

For heads for ME2 going forward, I went to: http://www.masseffect2faces.com  I've got a bunch of head codes written down of some of the really nice face models.  There is even some good (and uncanny) celebrity based Sheps that were done without mods.  That site also has codes for ME3, and some pre-created Wardens and Hawkes as well.   I did notice that imported Shep going from ME2 to ME3 can look a little off, but I was able to easily find a face code for ME3, that approximated the look.  I just changed the hair and eye color, and went on from there.

Finally, I've ran into a problem with having DLCs in ME2 not become authorized, even after a clean reinstall and getting the DLC straight from my BioWare account.  For that, I used the PCCPatcher for ME2 (just ignore the 3 symbol at the top.) Note: This will only authorize DLC that you got from either the social.bioware.com site, Origin or any other legitimate site.   Just follow the instructions if you run into this problem.  For bonus points, this will allow the in-game cheat console to enable, should you so choose to do so.

Just a small thing about the Genesis 2 comic and Tali, I did the comic with the Paragon choices and then continued onto the rest of the game, when i meat Tali i used gibbed to see what happened in ME2 and it says that she was found "not guilty" I remember some dialogue options being there that aren't there on this play through. Does Tali being found not guilty mean that she wont join the squad?

Also anybody heard of the MEHEM?

Tali - from memory, that just goes towards whether or not you can broker peace on Rannoch between the Quarians and the Geth.
