Hahahaha.
Don't buy into these people. Most people don't have MEHEM. It's only a select few people who can't deal with death of fictional characters who have MEHEM.
You know, the kind of people that asks their money back if the movie they watched has a not-happy ending. (which doesn't happen in the USA because they make alternate endings for those poor, poor souls)

haha indeed, I bet 90% of the mass effect players thinks the original extended end is just fine ![]()
95% if you have all the DLC of ME3 ![]()
oh right well i might try it just to see what it is because if you don't try who are you to judge. so i need to try it.

There is also a low-ems version of MEHEM that has a scene with Samantha. I've posted a screenshot of it in her group along with the link to the video. I've never had MEHEM. I've only ssen it on video. I don't have it since I play on a ps3.

Ok cool, i'll check it out when i get back i've gtg for a sec now.
If i clean the game does it delete my save games? i just want to know because there is a bug with my gibbed game, it keeps resetting all my perks every time i load a mission.

(Just quoted you so you could see)
I've got enough money to get one DLC in ME3, which one should i get first?

Leviathan if you care about reasons for endings.
Citadel if you just want to have fun

The Citadel DLC.

If it was me it would get From Ashes since you get Javik for a squadmate. If you don't want to, I would get Leviathan since it will give an explanation to how the cycles started. You will get a couple extra lines of dialogue when talking with the Catalyst

OK, back story is always good, who is Javik and does he impact the story much?
Leviathan if you care about reasons for endings.
Citadel if you just want to have fun
I understand that the Citadel is s character interactive DLC, but what does it actually add? I mean is it just talking to friends the whole time? or is there some combat and stuff?

Javik is a Prothean squadmate ![]()
Citadel does have combat and some of the toughest fights in the whole game.

Prothean? as in the Protheans that liara studies?
Some tough fights you say? i might have to give that a go then, Thanks

Javik is a Prothean that becomes a squadmate. The earlier you do the mission, the better. Bring him on all missions and talk to him on the ship and he will have a lot of interesting dialogue. Bringing him on Thessia makes the mission bearable.
Citadel dlc has combat and some nice upgrades. At the start you take a nice pistol from one of the enemies. Samantha has a few nice scenes especially if she is romanced.

Ok cool, If I get Ashes then I might have to make another character, (not that i'm complaining i love this game even if its the same stuff ever time i play through)
but if i get the Citadel, would it be advised that i restart like the Ashes one?

Depending on your playthrough, it can be different from the last one.
From Ashes can be done any time before Chronos. Citadel can be done any time after Citadel coup. You can restart if you want.
If you like, right after the coup, romance Sam(shower scene) then do the gameplay part of the Citadel dlc, you receive a nice paragon interrupt with Traynor, and save the meet ups and party for after the Sanctuary mission that way you get the most out of your meet ups in the dlc. Plus if you do the meet ups before Sanctuary, you won't get the hot tub scene with Samantha

Javik is a Prothean squadmate kept in stasis since the last cycle. He doesn't really add anything to the story, but provides a...unique perspective to events. He particularly butts heads with Liara.
Citadel is in two parts: there is a storyline that takes place in a new area of the Citadel which involves every member of your crew plus Wrex (if alive). It's very light, played mainly for laughs, meant to be a final adventure with your companions. The second part is a series of meetups with every surviving squadmate from the entire trilogy: From Wrex to EDI. Culminating in a party with them.
Both are good. If I had to pick one, though, I'd go with Citadel.

thanks for the extra info, i'll be getting the Citadel DLC first. And soon after i'll get the Ashes one.

It's totally worth it if you can't stand the Catalyst, think Destroy is overly punishing, or you just want Shepard to clearly survive a High EMS ending. And yes, the latest version includes a Low EMS version which is basically a Refuse That Doesn't Suck.
There's also an alternate MEHEM about which keeps the Catalyst and the ending choices but makes it clear Shepard was found and rescued afterwards (in Highest EMS Destroy, of course).

If you like Mass Effect (3) : From ashes
If you dislike Mass Effect (3) : Citadel DLC

What is the alternate version? I've only seen MEHEM as in the one where you just survive and there is no choice.

Why do you say that if you don't like ME3 if you should get Citadel?
I'd get ME1 and 2 first before ME3 DLC.
