With all this Romance fiasco and whether people are happy with the options or not I think this game has a lot

more to offer than Romances

And after calming down a bit I thought about the things I look most forward to:

- open world aspect (one area already bigger than all of DA:O? awesome now fill the different regions with lots of things to do and I will spent hours there

- the Story and central conflict (who is the Elder one? How/Why does the Inquisitor gets this special mark? Whats up with all the demons coming out of the sky? etc. the story seems very intriguing, but I'm also looking forward to solve some "side" conflicts along the way, in particular the Mage-Templar War, The Grey Warden Stuff and the Orlesian Civil war

- the companions and advisors (even though I'm no fan of how they handeled the romance options I'm loving the companions so far, they seem very diverse and interesting even though I would have enjoyed more non human companions

- the skyhold and the idea of commanding the Inquisiton (I think the Skyhold looks great in the new pics will definitely spent some time decorating that place, also leading the Inquisition and facing the threat openly seems awesome and new to the series as opposed to trying to fight the villians hidden (DA:O)

So what do you think? Do you agree or have something to add?

Party bickering .

Seeing animals respawn .

Visiting and snooping around the countryside . Talking to everyone .

Eager to see all the places we get to visit .

And of course , the main story !

Skyhold seems pretty cool. I'm looking forward to the customization features it has. It's a huge step up from just having to visit everyone's separate homes in DA2. I actually really liked the keep missions in Awakening, so this works out for me.

Also, just being involved with all the different world factions again. I'm very pleased that DA:I is more sweeping again, like Origins, but even more so, it seems. In DA2, it was pretty limited how involved you were with the world. This time you're deeply involved with most of the major power factions and I like seeing how I can help the ones I support and undermine the ones I don't. That should be a lot of fun.

Jeez, that's a bit grim. I hope things look up for you outside of video games, whatever is making you feel that way.

The specializations: what they are capable of, how they are learned, and how they play into the story...

The impact of race and background on the plot...

How dialogue is handled in general...

Any one thing? Answering that could break my brain.
I think I'll roll with the opposite. I'm looking forward to everything.

No, seriously, there's not a single thing I can't say I don't want to check out.

First order of business will be spending approximately seven hours in the character creator, manufacturing my ideal first Inquisitor. Then, it's off to where ever the game opens, and I'm going to stare at the dialogue wheel for several minutes until analysed and deconstructed all the emotion icons... then I might try to count the hairs on my Inquisitor's head.

Story.

Character Arcs/Development.

Character Creator (Most my gameplay is going to be there, I can see it).

Wandering around the open land looking for every, single, last plant.

Seeing the new Specialisations for the classes.

Multiplayer (It looks like fun!)

And best of all - Party Banter!

Seeing animals respawn .

And miscellaneous enemies like bandits and such.

Just a little thing to ensure that the world is not dead.

You fool! You had ample time to count those hairs in the character creator! ;0)

I am simply glad to be looking forward to it at all. I followed Origins before its release with a passion that possibly might have insanity. Then when I started learning about DA2, I didn't feel anything as such.

Specifically, I'm very much looking forward to seeing variety in atmosphere and culture, and am hopeful that the game's length will accommodate delving into as much detail as possible with all of the possible locations.

I'm also looking forward to seeing how the base is customizable. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun, but I would not begrudge if it were simple and shallow.

Having fun messing around with the character creator for a good long while.

Seeing all the beautiful environments for the first time.

Talking and interacting with the companions and advisors, and seeing just how they've come to life after just seeing them as pictures on a screen for so long.

Walking slowly throughout Skyhold and just taking it all in.

Creating and customizing weapons and armor.

Listening to the in-game music.

Experiencing plot twists/revelations/surprises.

Exploration is number one for me. The world can be going to hell in a handbasket- I just want to find sites of lore and pick elfroot in the meantime. I'm also beyond psyched for Skyhold, and getting to know all of my companions.

Everything.

I've never been so excited for a game. It's my birthday tomorrow and I'd be willing to skip it to get to November already. ;)

Making my own weapons for me,Dorian and Solas really want some staffs that aren't ugly and clunky. I might also take the time to craft special armor for whatever LI I'm romancing in any given playthrough. Minor though it may be I'm curious about if were gonna have a brothel and some companion's reactions to your occasional indulgence. Eager to see all the different class specs and find all the cross class combos.

The story as a whole is what does it for me, I'm, pretty excited for the different choices will have to make and their impact on the world.  Also tying into that and beyond the romances, just the characters as a whole and getting to know them all and listening to their banter.

That Skyhold and its customisation and growth also sound friggen amazing, I'm really looking forward to that, I like having my own little place to put together.  Oh and of course, just the character creator, I'm addicted to things like that, I can't wait to put together my own inquisitor...gaah it's going to be fun!   :D
