Warden - Rogue
Hawke - Mage
Warden - Rogue
Hawke - Mage
Yes. I only play as mages.
Don't have a cannon playhtrough but on one of my two pro-mage playthroughs they both are. The Warden is a mage who asked for the circle to have rights and is also Alistair's woman on the side so to speak and The Hawke is pro-mage downright and hates templars, also is a blood mage and is Ander's girlfriend. This will mos tlikeely be my first world state has well.
Warden was a warrior
Hawke was a dw rogue
I don't know which inquisitor will be my cannon, but my first play through will be as a mage. I like to mix things up a bit.
2 out of 3. Cousland was a Warrior, Hawke was a Mage. First Inquisitor shall be a Mage.
Warden - Human Noble Warrior, male
Hawke - Mage, male
Inquisitor - Still trying to decide, two options: Qunari Female or Human Male, mage in both cases
Nope.
Cannon Warden was(the other two a warrior and a rogue), but my cannon Hawke was a warrior, despite my two other Hawkes being mages. I typically try to play all three classes and mix it up personality and class wise in each playthrough from the preceding.
Yes. And so is my femquisitor
Both are mages (and their LI) and so will be the Inquisitor. Mage powah!
Canon for me will be
Origins: Rogue and Queen
DA II: Mage
DA: Inquisition: Mage
Origins: Mage
DA II: vicious evil templar
DAI: Qunari MAGE!
Neither are, but if and when I replay DA2, I'll make a mage. I don't really do "canon" though, I just... I only have one playthrough of each game, so by default they're the canon.
Cannon no. My Cannon Hawke & Warden are both Warriors. Warrior is my fav class in Dragon Age love the heavy armor. I did enjoy the mage combat in da2 but i like Bethany more than carver.
Might be dai idk have play the game a few times to see.
Pretty much warrior's all the way down. Steel > Magic.
My warden likes to ground & pound his enemies ![]()
Mike Hawke has magic powers ![]()
& my Action Jesus can do the electricity thing ![]()
Yes, actually. Broody male Warden mage and sarcastic female Hawke mage.
I usually tend to consider my first playthrough canon, barring some hideous mistakes. I'm pretty good at following my instincts and living with them. But, when I get a brand spanking new game, like so many people, I try to go through with a playstyle I find comfortable. For me, that's tanking. I like protecting my squishy friends. I like keeping my party safe and sound. I resent my team dying far more than I resent my character dying.
So my lady dwarf two handed tank leads to my arcane warrior mage tank Orlesian Warden to my law and order Hawke gal with her sword and shield tank set... Which will inevitably lead to another dwarf gal tank in inquisition.
Other playthroughs vary. Though I still take it personally when I'm innocently DPSing and then over there, Sten pulls aggro off Alistair and dies.
And when someone, who under pain of death I cannot reveal the identity of got stuck on the Arishok fight due to his choices, I had to step in. He got the version with approximately a bajillion minions, and his Hawke was a healer. So I asked for the controller, grabbed Aveline, and saved the day.
Because tanking is the best.
My main playthrough is human female mage warden ...then her cousin Hawke the female mage.
They also look a bit the same , well since they are from the same family, it's not a big deal.
I was going to go on with my female human mage tradition in Inquisition but then I changed my mind.
I'll play a male elf rogue.
The female human mage Inquisitor is for the second playthrough (with an elven rogue warden/male rogue Hawke )
Nope. Warden is an warrior and Hawke an rogue. I never fell for the whole mage Hawke bandwagon. Inquisitor is an mage. They should make for an pretty balanced party if they ever team up!
A long time ago, on my blind runs for the game I played Rogues both times.
Coercion and lockpicking are important things to me. I wanted to have to have all of the options, all of the time
Since then, I've played through Origins again as an Arcane Warrior with the Arcane Warrior+ mod and loads of armor+atmosphere mods (as opposed to vanilla) enjoyed it greatly. I've never played with Hawke as a mage, though. Not sure I could ever like Carver. I think that said mage Warden and the old rogue Hawke playthroughs are what I'm importing to Inquisition.
I don't really deal in multiple playthroughs, generally speaking. 1 or 2 is all you need.
I had many many many different variations of Class/Race/Sex of my Wardens and Hawkes , But my Main play through is ,
- Male Human Warden Warrior
- Male Warrior Hawke
- and the Inquisitor will yes be a Male Human warrior. Sue me for being cliche =P but that's my favored style , Male Warriors.
But i'll definitely be creating other imports with the Keep that are of varying races/classes/sex , as I love to see the story from different points of view and different game-play depending on my class. But still Warriors will always be my favorite class.
