I hope the Archer Rogue has an arsenal of elemental/enchanted arrow heads to switch up before certain encounters. If not as an inventory item as an ability.

I also hope we get hard hitting abilities and crowd hitting abilities. Like the "rain of arrows" from DA2. It was nice to use an ability like that when you had a group of smaller enemies. Then focus on the bigger 'boss' and whittle him down with hard hitting arrow.

I remember even the staple/mainstay ability between the cooldowns was pretty hard hitting.

I like what you say though about elemental arrows. Hope they  have that.

Yes you can play an archer focused rogue.

This is a good thing. I remember that Liliana was quite the archer in DA:O and could deal some massive damage. I would be cool to be able to play as a heavy hitting archer as the inquisitor. Still no word on if we can swap from ranged to melee weapons in combat though.

I agree that Leliana had a lot of potential as an archer, if her tactics were customized as she leveled up.  If she was left to auto-level, it was really tough to use her effectively.  I tend to gravitate toward melee combat for this reason, since how I'm trying to learn is watching what they were set up to do automatically.  For instance, the reason that enemy archers in DAO get an automatic crushing prison as soon as I spot them is because they spam scattershot and make it impossible to fight anyone.  After who knows how many playthroughs, I finally figured out that making her do the same thing made her more deadly too.  She doesn't actually kill with them, but she stun-locks the baddies until the DPSers are freed up.  Add a few more tweaks to her presets and she's an awesome support.  Not even including scattershot in her tactics, and including rain of arrows automatically in Nathaniel's (I still cringe when I think of the first time I accidentally wiped out all the Amaranthine guards with it before I figured out I just needed to turn that tactic off in town,) made learning to appreciate the class a lot harder.

I hope for awesome abilities for someone who wants to play a DPS archer, and better AI and tactics presets to allow people who learn by watching a chance to see what to do to shine, not what to do to be frustrated.
