Really surprised you put Suikoden III in the same league as IV and V.
for me III had characters that i liked and rooted for, where as IV and V never really made me feel that involved, liked IV and V but i dont know, just felt like something was missing and didnt impact me as much as the first 3.

If you really enjoyed Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines then I highly recomend you try Deus Ex (the original not IW) if you havent already. Bloodlines was a good game but I couldnt help but feel like I was playing a poor mans Deus Ex, nearly everything that you loved about Bloodlines can be found in Deus Ex.

Of course the 2 games have completely different styles with Bloodlines being based around a secret society of Vampires in a modern setting with supernatural themes and Deus Ex is set in a dystopian future with a more of a MIB, FBI conspiracy theory sort of theme with a big focus on mechanical and nanotechnical human augmentations, so I guess it comes down to personal preference.

They're completely different, I personally don't see a connection. A poor man's Deus Ex is probably not the right evaluation IMO. I had tons of fun with Bloodlines and took interest with it's WOD lore and awesome story whereas I was completely disappointed with Deus Ex afer hearing so much hype about it. The clunky and akward gameplay just killed my enjoyment to be honest(which is a pity because it set out such a great cyberpunk setting and story). Strangely enough I too enjoyed the sequel IW(which I can see so many DX fans constanly put down).

Nope I think I will stick with my evaluation of bloodlines, I dont see how you dont see the connection it is obvious that bloodlines was inspired by Deus Ex (gameplay wise at least). Bloodlines to me seemed like it was writen more for the immature and rebelious teen market with the dialouge choices and characters reflecting that. Also the choices made in Bloodlines never seemed to carry much weight whereas in Deus Ex the choices you made seemed to have much bigger consequences and rewards. Also you say that Deus Ex had clunky and akward gameplay but how was it any better in bloodlines?

The reason so many Deus Ex fans hate IW is not because it was a bad game (hell I actually enjoyed it), but because it was nowhere near as good as the original, it diddnt come close to the greatness of the original Deus Ex.

I just found it funny that the imps were fooled by a piece of paper, especially if it had that written on it!

10. Dragon Age: Origins - I really liked this game and the way the story is formed by you. Atm i'd actually have put NWN1 in this spot, but this is because of all the modules which is released for NWN, but im sure DA:O will be like that someday too, and this game is Superior in everything else.

9. Grand theft Auto: Vice City - Great story, great gameplay and so much to do, what is there not to like? (Note i haven't played IV, so that is probably why this isn't on the list judging by the reviews)

8. Legend of Zelda: Wind waker - The best LoZ game ever imo, i love the graphics and the freedom you feel when you can just sail around and explore small islands and do sidequests.

7. Heroes of Might and Magic III - Best turn-based stragedy game ever, i love this game.

6. Grand theft Auto: San Andreas - Same as Vice City, just a little better in everything i've mentioned.

5. Warcraft III - The campaign is very good, both the original and the expansions. I don't play normal maps in this game, im getting bored from them to quick, but there is so many user-made maps and a network hosting them. Oh how i've spend many nights on Battle.net.

4. Diablo II - Good old Diablo, the best Hack n' slash rpg yet. What i really love about this is how there is sooo much rare loot from the same bosses, and dropchances are so small. You can repeat the bosses over and over without getting bored. How you love the feeling when you see gold&green text drop from the bosses :)

3. Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town - Hahaha, no ****, a game with Everyone.rating :) I love everything about this game, it's atmhosphere, it's charm, the romances, upgrading your farm.. Ah.... I play trough this atleast once a year.

2. Phantasy Star Online: Episode I&II - This game is very special to me, the sci-fi setting RPG. What i love is the way loot-hunting is done, the quest system, the story is nice and the gameplay both single and multiplayer is so Unique.

1. World of Warcraft - I know you'll all hate me for this, but this is the game i have played the most, and the one i've enjoyed the longest time.
