So, who are you planing to pair with your Quizzy(s)?

And with that in mind, who do you think "fits" with each L.I? As in, what race/gender do you see as the best match, or the one that makes the most sense?

For some reason i'm loving the idea of I.B with a female Dwarf. Not even in a comical way. So far it's my favourite self-pairing.

I prefered putting Josephine with a female, but due to my own needs.decisions, she's getting with a male-quizzy =P

Dorian I see with a human. Cass and Blackwall too. Prefer Cullen with an elf. No opinion on Sera yet.

How about you guys? Any opinions?

I really hope if you don't romance someone they might fall for one of your other companions like in ME3 with garrus and tali.

 

But cass i can only see with a human,

Blackwall with everyone except qunari

And it would be really cute to see cullen with an elf

 

Also on a side note i would love there to be a seen where sera hits on leliana, i just think that would be funny XD

I'll have Dorian paired with my black human mage. Then I'll have a female mage with Cullen. Then a male Dalish mage with the Iron Bull.

Companions hooking up with each other would be awesome. Makes them more real. Apparantly Fenris and Isabella start a relationship if you don't romance either of them.

Also Carver and Merrill & Bethany and Sebastian flirt if you don't romance Merrill or Sebastian. I thinks that's pretty cute as well and I'd love to see relationship between companions and advisors or at least flirting

For me Cassandra is hooking up with a charming, older Human Mage. Not dissimilar to Rhys/Evangeline. Though depending how big of an aspect of her personality being an inner romantic is, I kind of like the idea of the charming nobleman woo her like a Proper Lady.

Josephine gets the charming nobleman.

I don't know about Sera. Any race works for me in my head, but I'm planning to go with a Qunari Mage.

Not really planning to romace any of the guys, but if I do:

Blackwall will be charmed by a young noblewoman, to add an extra tragedy to the doomed relationship.

A Female Dwarf will "Ride the Bull". Purely for comical affect.

I think you have to with the Cullen one. Can't romance him with a dwarf.

I'll add my voice to those that want companions and/or advisors to hook up. It makes them feel more real and less "I am only attracted to an Inquisitor that is of X gender and Y race".

I only have 2 romances planed at the moment

 

Elizabeth Nancy Trevelyan - mage will romance Josephine

 

And probably my only malequisitor will romance Cassandra

For me...although it could change once I play buuuut.....

 

Female human mage x Cullen  (I just really like the idea of mixing him with a circle mage and seeing how he reacts...hopefully not badly and I don't screw it up lol)

Female elf rouge x Iron Bull (It just seems like it could be an adorable match, I'm a sap)

Female elf mage x Solas  (Not much of a choice lol, but a mage could be fun)

Female qunari warrior x Sera  (I really want to try a female Qunari and the idea of pairing Sera with a badass Qunari seems like it would be cool)

 

I also really really really want to do a romance with Dorian but I can't decide who I would pair him up with...I'm leaning towards a human warrior...buut I don't know...we'll see.  I want to do Blackwall eventually...but again I'[m not sure who with...maybe a Dwarf, been reading too many comics in that thread lol.

 

I'm torn on romances amongst companions, yes it could be really sweet and add an element of realism, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about one of my favourite hooking up with someone else the moment my Quizzy leaves 'em alone haha.

Female Adaar mage/rogue (depending on if I like mages or rogues better) with Bull.

 

That's pretty much it.

 

For companions/advisers? I could see Cullen/Josie or Josie/Sera, perhaps.

My first playthrough will be a male qunari two-handed warrior.  I'm planning to make him very "non-Qunari" in that I would play him exactly as I would play a human.  I'm imagining him as a guy who was raised in an Andrastian society, doesn't consider himself Andrastrian anymore, but certainly has no connection to the Qun.  I'm also going to play him as very "lawful/neutral good".  I'm kind of open as to who is going to be his romance option.  It will either be Dorian or Iron Bull, naturally, but I'm leaving it open to see who he "clicks" with better.  I'm expecting it to be Dorian, but would not be surprised at all if he falls for IB's charms.

 

My second playthrough will be a male dwarf dual wield dwarf.  I'm going to play him kind of similar to how I played my lady Brosca in DA: O.  He will be a reluctant thug, because he doesn't see any other options.  He'll use wits and charms instead of muscle to solve his Cartel problems.  He'll see the Inquisition as his "way out" of that life and will embrace being a "chaotic good" leader:  working towards a greater good, but more than willing to bend a few rules to get there.  He will end up romancing whoever my Adaar doesn't romance.  I can easily see his personality working with either Dorian or IB at this point, so I'm not concerned.

 

I was going to plan out a third character as well, this one a female dwarf warrior, but I'm just not sure that I'll be engaged enough to play as a female without a romance who I really like.  If either Sera or Josephine end up being gals I would like to romance, then I'll do a Lady Cadash playthrough, but I'm not expecting to at this point.  I never got through a Lady Hawke playthrough because I found Merrill to be irritating and I just liked Isabela as a bro.  In fact, she was my fav bro (tied with Varric).  I'll know after doing a playthrough if I can get through a run with a female character.  It really depends on if I have a romance that I like, though.

As for who I think pairs best with who I really can't say among the companions and advisers I just know for my own PCs and the LIs I don't think at this point I'll be able to picture Dorian with anything other than qunari and Iron Bull with anything other than dwarfs

First playthrough will be with a super nature loving Dalish mage who will romance Solas.

Second, a sassy and sarcastic dual wielding Dwarven rogue who will romance Blackwall.

After that I don't know where I'll go, but I have a femqunari mage or rogue paired with IB, a fem human mage paired with Cullen and a dashing human rogue paired with Dorian in mind. I'll do the others at some point too, but right now I haven't given them much thought.

I like the idead of a younger human mage being with cass, cougers are a blast plus it adds spice that its also forbidden for a mage and a seeker to fraternize

I think it was confirmed that companions will start relationships with each other. Provided you don't romance them.

I think IB would love a Rogue Artificer for the sake of explosions. Dwarf because height difference is awesome.

Josie will love an educated Mage who prefer to peacefully negotiate with the enemy.

 

Blackwill will prefer a straight up honorable lady fighter. Maybe a Champion.

Hah I've been factoring in love interests in planning the inquisitors i want to create.

Heres mine so far

Human male Templar - Cassandra.
Female dalish Rift mage- Solas
Dwarf male - Josephine
Dwarf female artificer - Blackwall
Human/dalish male archer- Dorian
Human female mage knight enchanter- Blackwall
Human male Knight enchanter - Cassandra or Josephine
