I think it was confirmed that companions will start relationships with each other. Provided you don't romance them.

Really?  That sounds awesome!  I can't wait to see who pairs off... now that I think about it, this means we may also see or hear about Solas getting shot down by Sera since she's the only female elf on the team.  Oh my, such drama! 

 

As for the topic, I'm far too boring to try out so many PCs and romances, so I've got nothing to add.

I think each love interest needs someone who challenges them in a way that expands their understanding of the world.

 

Cassandra: elven mage, dwarven rogue, elven rogue, qunari rogue, qunari mage

Sera: qunari warrior, human mage, dwarven warrior, human warrior, qunari mage

This is how I plan to do the romances (no pun intended )...

 

Solas - female elven mage and female elven warrior

 

Cullen - female human mage and female elven rogue

 

Blackwall - female Qunari rogue and female human warrior

 

Iron Bull - female Qunari mage

 

Dorian - male human mage 

 

Sera - female dwarven rogue

 

Josephine - male elven mage and female dwarven warrior

 

Cassandra - male human rogue and male Qunari warrior

 

Yes, I plan on doing a ridiculous number of playthroughs!

I'm not sure as the news that both Viv not being a LI and Cullen being race gated against Qunari stopped my plans in their tracks, but I'm sure that Sera and Josephine will be romanced during one of my three playthroughs.

 

The original plan was.

 

Atiseth Lavellan (as a portmanteau of the elvish words for safe and peace) Female Elvish Warrior romancing Sera

Asaara Adaar (Qunlat for wind as in winds of change) Female Qunari Mage romancing Vivienne/Cullen. Currently leaning towards Josephine after striking out with the Cullen.

Unknown Name Trevelyan Female Human Rogue romancing Cullen if not romanced by Asaara or Josephine. Currently leaning towards Cullen, maybe Blackwall if he interests me in my other two playthroughs .

haha I reacted in a similar way about Isabela and Fenris but in the end, I think that's fun when companions do that.

Am I the only one who refused to bring Isabela and Fenris along in a party together when I was playing a Hawke who wasn't romancing him just so I wouldn't have to hear about their relationship and become irrationally, ridiculously jealous?!

So, who are you planing to pair with your Quizzy(s)?

And with that in mind, who do you think "fits" with each L.I? As in, what race/gender do you see as the best match, or the one that makes the most sense?

For some reason i'm loving the idea of I.B with a female Dwarf. Not even in a comical way. So far it's my favourite self-pairing.

I prefered putting Josephine with a female, but due to my own needs.decisions, she's getting with a male-quizzy =P

Dorian I see with a human. Cass and Blackwall too. Prefer Cullen with an elf. No opinion on Sera yet.

How about you guys? Any opinions?

 

I LOVE IRON BULL WITH A FEMALE DWARF TOO. I considered a mage-qunari would be cool, but then I decided I like interracial romances too much, and that's when IB/dwarf hit me. I just think it's adorable for some reason. She'll likely be a rogue.

 

I'll almost surely pair Blackwall with my qunari mage; there's something appealing about that.

 

I will give my female elven mage to either Solas or Cullen--both are pretty delicious as options, but any mage is extra-fun with Cullen.

 

Sera... I don't know yet, but I've always loved elf/human relations, so she'll likely get my warrior human.

 

I will give Dorian a sexy Dalish hunter of the rogue variety. 

 

I will DEFINITELY give Cassandra an elven mage guy.

 

I like the idea of diplomatic Josephine with a bitter female Dalish warrior.

Some of them I'm still not 100% decided on, but:

 

Female Human Rogue: Cullen or Blackwall

Male Elf Mage: Dorian

Female Qunari Mage: IB

Male Dwarf Warrior: Josie or Cass

Male Human Warrior: Josie or Cass

Female Elf Mage: Solas

Female Dwarf Rouge: Sera

I really haven't decided yet . I want to play a Mage Qunari that romance Sera . But then I also want an elf To romance Sera . So undecided . I probably run a Qunari first and see how it goes...I can always start over

Definitely Dorian with a Qunari mage first.

 

Then Solas with a female elf (obvs) warrior.

 

Then Iron Bull with a male dwarf warrior, which should be interesting.

 

Then I was pretty set on romancing Cullen with a female Qunari, but that's apparently impossible... I might consider rolling a human for him, but I'll probably go elf. And possibly a mage...  

 

As for the rest, I have no plans, but if I end up liking any of them especially I'll make some.

I will also do a female inquisitor x Josephine playthrough and a male inquisitor x Cassandra one

A few i've come up with so far

 

Cassandra - Male Human

Cullen - Female Human

Blackwall - Female Qunari

Iron Bull - Female Dwarf

Josephine - Male Qunari

 

I'll have different variation of races but generally the genders remain the same.

 

Didn't add solas as the only option is Female elf but i will be doing that too , Didn't add Sera or Dorian as i have no interest in them.

My canon, not my first playthrough, though, will be a male dwarf rogue with Josephine.

 

First will be a female elf mage with Solas.  I'm not waiting around for that. Then:

 

Male Elf Rogue with Dorian

Female Elf not sure what class yet with Serah

Female Human Mage with Blackwall

 

I have a female warrior planned for Cullen but, that won't be for a while and will eventually do a female dwarf with Iron Bull. I have no plans for Cassandra yet.

Elf!Rogue/Dorian - first playthrough although I'm debating a Qunari!Mage
Elf!Mage/Cullen - second playthrough
F!Qunari!Mage/Josie - possibly for my third playthrough

Haven't thought of how I want my Inquisitors to be regarding their romances except I want my lady!qunari to be super awkward because 'TINY CUTE HUMAN??!!! WHAT DO??!!!'.

My dwarf quizzy will ride the bull, because he's my favorite LI so far and I want him first, and I always do dwarves first.

 

Next I plan to do a qunquizzy but I don't know if mage or warrior... either way I think I'll romance blackwall or Sera with her. Not sure which yet.

 

After that I'll do a male inquisitor for dorian (elf, in whatever mage/warrior class my qunquisitor didn't end up as)

 

Then I'll do a human run and be with Cassandra.

 

I do a lot of playthroughs I'll romance everyone eventually.
