Cullen : Human Female
Solas: Female Elf
and that's it. I won't be romancing Blackwall.

Am I the only one who refused to bring Isabela and Fenris along in a party together when I was playing a Hawke who wasn't romancing him just so I wouldn't have to hear about their relationship and become irrationally, ridiculously jealous?!
Nope.
As for DAI, I'm not sure yet. My first character will, as in both DAO and DA2, be a female rogue, but I'm not sure yet if elf or human. Since elf also has Solas as a possibility, I might start there and see who can win her heart first. I also plan to romance Cullen and Iron Bull, and will probably run a male at some point to see Cass' romance too. Beyond that will depend on how much I like the other characters, and how much time each play-through takes. ![]()
I think it was confirmed that companions will start relationships with each other. Provided you don't romance them.
My plan yet:
Female Elven Mage - Sera
Male Dwarven Warrior - Cassandra
Male Qunari Rogue - Not Decided Yet
Female Human Mage - Cullen
I'd like to romance scribbles too, but I'm leaving her up for a impulse decision when I've made my initial 44 playthroughs, unless I romance her with the Qunari. I might do a female Dwarf x Iron Bull too.
This was news to me, where did you find it? I really like that by the way, it is nice to see how their livets continue even if you don't romance them.
I believe I got that info from a tweet.
Who I'll be romancing ![]()
My first playthrough will certianly be a male qunari necromancer. He'll be sarcastic but kind at heart. I'm hoping that character creation will let me make him pale (white/light grey) with dark eyes but 'til launch I'll have to wait and see. He'll be romancing Iron bull. He doesn't have an issue with people believing in the Qun as long as they don't try to force their beliefs on others. He's probably the only character I'll romance, I may consider Cullen on a different playthrough but I generally prefer romancing party members for the cute banter. ![]()
Who I think suits who ![]()
Cullen - Human female (warrior/mage)
Blackwall - Human/dwarf female (rogue/warrior)
Cassandra - Human male (warrior)
Dorian - Human/elf male (mage/warrior)
Sera - Elf female (all classes)
Iron bull - Qunari female/male (all classes)
Solas - Elf female (all classes)
I don't know enough about Josephine to have a prediction. Sorry Josie no love for you at the moment ![]()
Male Qunari-Cassandra
Female Quizzies will most likely be single.
Dorian - male Qunari mage
Solas - female Elven mage
Josephine - female Qunari rogue
Beyond that, I'll try to hit each of the other LIs with a different race or gender, though I'm pretty sure I'll have to repeat one at some point. Right now, I've only really planned out my male Qunari and female Elven mages.
I am surprised eveybody knows already who they're gonna sleep with.
I mean, even with all the headcanoning going on, none of us has even met the potentials
What happens if your favorite romance likes to torture kittens, makes always awful puns or makes mating some kind of bizarre magic ritual (ok, we had that one before, and even Alistair enjoyed it more than he thought)? What if ze has stinky feet or hates your race, your class, your heritage, your class, your younameit, and every decision you make is making them disapprove you more.
I simply don't know who I'm going to be attracted to. Usually, the first moments of meeting somebody usually pins very well their personality and what they represent. And I am almost instantaniously either drawn to them or not.
Right now, I am thinking Sera could be fun. But that limits the possibilities (female; non-rogue, because two rogues in the party is probably too much).

My first time through would be a male dwarven rogue who could only possibly romance Josephine. Cassandra will be killed or driven out of the party if at all possible.
Josephine for my first playthrough. Don't know about the others. I'm interested to see if anything happens with non inquisition npcs tbh.
