SF4.
I spent way too much time with that game.
I'm also a big Soul Calibur fan and I loved the first Smash Brothers back in the day.
I've tried plenty of others but none of them ever captured my attention like SF4.
SF v Tekken was not very good. IMO.

Fight Night Champion was a satisfying game, took the combat system from its predecessor and threw in a somewhat worthwhile story. It put a focus on certain strategies/objectives to survive/succeed through each round, depending on your opponent.
Smash Bros., it's simple but effective and ate up tons of hours with my family. Melee's Intro brings back warm memories.
Mortal Kombat but more for its setting and character design...and weird humor with fatalities. o.O Never touched the new ones, may give it a whirl soon.

Love fighting games, it's just a shame that they aren't as big as some of the other genres out there ( on the PC at least).
I've been loving the life out of King of Fighters XIII ever since it got released on PC. Also been playing a bit of Ultra Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat 9.

From recent games I only have Mortal Kombat IX and 'NARUTO Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3' and both are awesome. Naruto one is a little weird with all those superpowers though.

As much as I'd love to play the BlazBlue games, only one of them is one PC, and I don't have a PS3 . The Guilty Gear Series is also quite cool imo. Chipp and Slayer being my favourites at the moment.
