I always gave the Blood Dragon armor to Ogren. He seemed to like it.

I gave it to Sten, Ogren got the Juggernaut Armour, I wore King Cailans armour or the Wardens armour, which I swapped and with Alistair.

I don't like the idea of flaming weapons/armor on aesthetic and immersion grounds. So I won't be using the Flames of inquisition and hence I won't be pre-ordering.

I plan to pre-order, so no

I have pre-ordered the deluxe addition in case there is some DLC season-pass or multiplayer content involved, but I dislike using overpowered gear that is given as a pre-order or collectors addition incentive.  I much prefer to play the game with the sets of equipment designed to be of an appropriate power level in the game.  However, I might use the cosmetic only items such as the skyhold throne or the mounts.

Most likely the Armor only on my 1st Playthrough but as for the Weapons gotta keep that Mage Staff, pure badass.

May ignore the rest though

If you enjoy looting these type of deals kind of hurt the early game for you.

Probably not first run; I might use the bow depending on what else is available, but aesthetically, the Flames stuff isn't really blowing my skirt up. I might use it down the road when I roll a big beefcakey warrior or something. I dunno. I'm mostly getting the Deluxe edition for the soundtrack. :3

I'm not a fan of those weapons to begin with, so probably not. If anything, I'll check their stats and use them on guys with weaker weapons. They'll be replaced the moment I find something better.

I wonder if they can be changed aesthetically at some point? By crafting items for them.

I will probably wait to use the armor until my Inquisitor and Inquisition are at a point where they could craft or buy it.

I have CE so it will be in my game but I doubt I'll use it, it's so hideous. Just like the rest of the preorder bonuses.

I will if I preorder, but I haven't preordered, yet. I'm not sure what I'm waiting for... The PC specs, I guess. That, and I want to see if there will be a midnight release so I can just reserve a copy at the local game shop and go pick it up.

I'm not a fan of these types of weapons early in the game, feels like I've cheated and won't enjoy the early game as much. In fact I will probably sell my code!

Yep, because I will buy the standard edition, I don't have the Flames of Inquisition armor.

I don't mind though, everything will be new, so I probably not going to miss one armor and weapon set.

I plan to use the pre-order armor and weapons for a few reasons.

  1. Save money in the beginning, so you can focus on gathering what you need for the inquisition, your companions and what ever else you need to gather stuff for.
  2. Helps me not to die as easily as I would with out it in the beginning.
  3. If other companions can equip the pre-order weapons then everyone starts off with a decent weapon.
  4. Also having the pre-order armor and weapons gives you a chance to gather materials for any other armor and weapons you may want to make, with out being killed trying to get the supplies.
  5. It also looks cool, although I hope they still have the hide helmet option!

Im like really really anti preorder/preorder bonus, so if I do get it when I pick up my game ill just throw it away.

You're such a rebel. Watch that you don't cut yourself on all that edge.

Depends entirely on if its early game armor which is unlocked the moment the game starts, in which case ill use it if it if its not so overpowered that combat becomes pointless, or like blood dragon armor is unlocked when you reach a certain level of stat., in which case ill use it if its the most powerful gear available to me at the time

Me too I think I won't be using them, despite having them..

Since they don't seem to get a boxed edition for PC of the Deluxe Edition in Italy I'm not only skipping, for the first time, my retail version, and consequently the Collector's Edition, but also getting it digitally.

Such a shame.

I'll be skipping the use of any armor or weapons that have bright and gaudy animations. Flames, or ice, or lightning. All that stuff can get vendored.

I actually hate bonus sets - so I'll pass.

That, and I feel like it hurts the crafting system they've made to have armors that may, or my not, make it less relevant.

It would be nice if the armor was just a great starter set - but previous suits proved to be rather ridiculous.

Weapons I might but don't like the look of the armour much, especially the helmet, hate the look of that.

I plan to use it, at least in the beginning. I use the best gear available unless I find it particularly ugly and my character is powerful enough that I don't suffer without it.
